Ah okay. Yeah, there's an episode where Lloyd is listening to metal in his van and I'm pretty sure it was Devildriver.

Today's album of the day for me is Stratus Energy by Faze Action, bought on the strength of the artwork alone. It's 70s type disco dance stuff and done really well. Don't they know it's all about emulating the 80s now? They don't seem to care and I'm kind of glad.

I'm loving this. It's one that lifts me up. For some reason, most of my music collection tends to do the exact opposite so it's nice to find something like this.

Edit: Looking them up on wikipedia, they say that this album "features 80's-like disco vocals and synths" so maybe they do know it's all about emulating the 80s. But this sounds like it is rooted in the 70s far more to me. But what do I know?

Florence & the machine - Lungs.

Good stuff here....mainly. Not too Kate Bush as one might have predicted, though she is in there clearly.

                    Great tune Baseingham.

Just playing Everybodys Golf and rocking some Lil Wayne, just set up my mega dj-calibre sound system with the giant Jamo speaks and Numark double decks. Next up: Sunny Day Real Estate and Refused.

Where I have just moved house my cds are not alpha order so means when I peep my shelf am discovering stuff I havent heard for ages. Rocking some Jets to Brazil and Far now. Emo-geddon.

Yeah man, before the word "emo" became something entirely different (i.e. gay)! Blake Schwarzenbach from Jets To Brazil/Jawbreaker is a legend, Jawbreaker are probably my all time favourite band

Far are decent too, remember seeing them support Deftones on their first trip to the UK years ago

Edit: Thats enough of that, time for some Chuck Berry before I fall asleep

Live cd a mate did me, J Mascis with Broken Social Scene as his backing band. That and Car Button Cloth by Lemonheads which I cant stop spinning. It also impressed Adam Stone when he was over here Saturday.
