The new track by Van Halen. Good to get back to the old style of rock but I have never been a big fan of the Dave Lee Roth stuff and it makes me want some new Sammy Hagar material
The track is growing on me though.

Currently listening to the "Grace is a beautiful thing to lose, my friend" EP from My Baby Wants To Eat Your Pussy (Artrock band from Mannheim). Really good EP, a pity they are not that popular, even in Germany. The live shows are spectacular and really entertaining.

Usual boring JazzFunk autistic heavy electro mash, 'cept this one is truly banging (listened to it FOUR times on the bus home back from work!!!):

Mr. Oizo can do no wrong in my eyes. Ever.

I dunno what kinda music it is but I think it's awesome and listened to the album afterwards.

Got some itunes vouchers for Chrimbus and spent them on some killer Jazz-Funk that's daftly expensive on CD. A good haul.

Awesome, spacey trumpet playing, squelchy synths and George Duke on fender rhodes!!

This track's ace too. I'm a sucker for trombone riffs that double up on top of bass...so...yeah...

Classic goa trance from Hallucinogen. Up there with 'LSD' as one of the finest goa trance tunes ever made.

Same guy. Different project. Same cleverness of sonic manipulation.

Clever little trance tune inspired by the work by scientists going on at CERN searching of the Higgs Boson or 'god particle'. The tune's apparently constructed using mathematical references to the particle in question (I can't recognise them personally as I don't know how to read music) but, either way, it's a nifty and delicate piece of music which does bring to mind sub-atomic particles being smashed into eachother. Psychedelic.

Some of this for me today. Didn't realise the album was out until I happened upon a youtube video in December. Album is US only so imported it over.

More psychedelic goa trance from the halcyon days that were the mid-nineties. Considering the technology needed to make trance music is so much better, cheaper and more commonplace today, it's a crime the stuff being produced back then still hasn't been bettered.

If old school dance vibe is the flavour of the month then this has to be added.....from hackers, and also mortal kombat if memory serves.

                            Either way a great track:
