Gonna stick some Return To Forever/Chick Corea stuff on now - Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy and No Mystery. Been OD-ing on hip hop for the last week, need to give my ears and mind some respite.

Today I am straddling the twin worlds of camp, operatic, showtune-style pop and crushingly awful rap metal. Rufus Wainwright and the Judgement Night soundtrack **** the world!!!

          Now that's a great soundtrack.

You are not wrong there. What were they thinking? Faith No More and Boo Yaa TRIBE is excellent though.

Seany, I suspect my words are being distorted slightly. Well, I like it. What's not to like? But then, I like the Spawn soundtrack too for the same reason - interesting mixing of styles.

Was this your first listen or did you just fancy putting on something you hate?

Nah I have had it for years! I love it really. And yes, I own the Spawn one as well, and the Crow. 1990s b-movie soundtracks rule!

I've got A Tribe Called Quest - Beats Rhymes & Life. They're stabbing up the tracks as if their names are OJ Simpson >_<

Aw the Big Man was bustin' my balls. I don't think I've ever heard the soundtrack to the Crow. Might just have to go find out what's on it now.

I spent years looking for that Judgement Night soundtrack, picked it up in Derby market for pittance a few years ago, its got a few ok songs on, but the Cypress/Pearl Jam track (which i was getting it for) truely disappointed me (i don't seem to recall hearing any of the tracks in the film either)

Anyways, been listening to Desert Sessions 5-6, Sophia and Brand New's new album at work today, as well as a bit of Terrorvision

i'll not have a bad word said against that film, especially when the soundtrack is so ****ing good.... the cure, machines of loving grace, stone temple pilots, nine inch nails, pantera, my life with the thrill kill cult, the jesus and mary chain, medicine.... it's a formidable lineup of artists and one of the best soundtracks i've heard.

                            *plays soundtrack*
