What, you've been listening to Coldplay too?

The new record is alright, though - all experimenty and stuff, as you'd expect with Brian Eno producing. I haven't seen any pics, but I just know the band have beards now.

Currently listening to Delerium's Nuages Du Monde album. That track Indoctrination is fantastic. Chucking the bass into their style was a great move.

Not put it on for a while but just listened to Spiderland all the way through, on loud. Holy ****, what a record! Genuinely epic. When you're in the mood it's just sublime.

I put on this the other night when I was trolleyed off my face. "I heard the fortune teller screaming back at me!" always sends a shiver up and down my spine when I hear that line.

Today I'm listening to Journey's new album. I like it. Just like their classic stuff.

Yep a new album and the more I listen to it the more I love it. It's easily as strong as their best classic work. They have a new singer, not that you'd know it while listening. Apparently they found him on YouTube doing Journey tributes. He's fantastic.

I'd totally recommend the album. It's called Revelation. It comes with a second cd of classics recorded with the new bloke and they stand up rather well though actually some of the instrumentation in those isn't as good as the new material, or the actual originals.

I was just listening to 'The Best of Radiohead' and it dawned on me...

Coldplay started out as a Radiohead tribute act ! ! ! !

Seriously, stick a few songs from A Rush of Blood to the Head on the Radiohead best of and I doubt many would notice.
