bit of a mixed bag today, as always...

i love the SC soundtrack - it has been on my iPod playlist for almost two years. i change everything else, but that always stays on. and the last pic is for Maria Elena Walsh's 'Canciones Para Chicos' - a cd of Argentinian children's songs. a joy to listen to, and a thing of beauty forever - possibly my favourite album of all time

£7 for 6 cds of hip hop? bargain... and the crow soundtrack is worth admission if only for the cure, nine inch nails and machines of loving grace. ****ing fantastic tunes.

Just listening to Ed Harcourt myself and a bit of Bjork. Got a nice gatefold edition of Vespertine yesterday, which i'm pretty chuffed with, even though the case is prone to scratching up the CD as you take it in and out. But it looks nice! And its supposed to be Super-Audio (SACD) - anyone have any idea what the difference is? - Sounds the same as my normal edition to me...

Meth album is poor, only got it cos it was a quid in Crime Converters. the Wu one is aiight - got the superb Above The Clouds (Gang Starr ft Inspectah Deck)

Agreed on that meth album being poor, Johnny Blaze even said that himself

I have his new album too, and 'more fish' but I have listened to neither yet.

More Fish has enough to put it above most hip hop releases. Be warned though - it isnt a proper Ghost album, more of a crew record - but saying that some of the emcees that knock about with him are pretty tasty in their own right.

Suede today to match the mood of a monday morning. 'Coming up' which i 'effin love, an exellent album the first and the best post butler suede album and tbh he wasnt missed. Also been re-listening to 'head music' there 4th album which bar 'Electricity' and a couple of others is poor, Anderson's lyric's about 'nucular skies'etc, etc are pretty much a parody of his own former (and better) work. Really getting back into Suede and must pick up there last album 'a new morning' which i never bothered with at the time, and check out The Tears.

I'm listening to the new(ish) Albert Hammond Jnr. album, which I think is fantastic and better than the last couple of Strokes albums.

SuperDan, The Tears debut album is really good, there are some excellent songs on there, I don't think you'd be disappointed if you picked it up
