I listened to Ryan Adams - Demolition today...found it when clearing out the spare room to decorate it.

Great record, even if it is his "demos" as such.

Also found the pumpkins "Adore" which is highly underrated, love this album, possibly my joint fav pumpkins album with melon colly.

I can't even bring myself to listen to that anymore, I must have listened to it a few thousand times. Plus it didn't help that all the dickheads at the gigs kept shouting for "Debaser" all the time, even though they'd already played it. Surfer Rosa never gets old, probably due to Albini's production.

Anyway, today I've been listening to the Doves, Death in Vegas and an Avalanches Breezeblock mix.

I pressed play on 'Beastie Boys - Check your head' when I sat down on the train, and as I was about to get up to leave the train it finished. . awesome

I didn't realise they were so instrumental back then, I thought it was a lot further on in their careers with that 100% instrumental album they did.

Had to think carefully today and find the perfect soundtrack to the snow Radiohead methinks, snow, etheral, haunting songs perfection. Being one of the tedious Radiohead fans who think the should start playing there guitars properly again, i chose 'The Bends' (how could one not?) gazing up at the falling snow and listening to Street spirit is not a momment that happens everyday. Perfection indeed. I was suprised by the number of people i saw with there heads buried in newspapers as the snow fell..??.,puzzeled.Much like a beautiful woman i couldnt take my eyes off it.Must be terrible to be *That* dead inside..
