Elfen Lied is one sick puppy, if Tokko on the same level im not sure i wanna watch it... although saying that i kept watching EL cos it was a total gorey car wreck of a show.

Disgaea ep - what a pile of suck, delated. I just couldn't see how it would get any better, the fighting just sucked ass.

Finally watched Ouran, which complete passed me by till you lot talked about it, another must watch, whats that now.... 6 or 7 new shows i gotta download

All I know is that some were saying it has about as much blood and stuff as Elfen Lied. I don't think it is as sick as I've heard Elfen Lied is. Either way it's only 13 episodes long apparently and if the first episode turns out decent I may follow it.

Watched a bit of Stellvia (ep1-6), I can?t believe I let a good show like this pass me by. For the moment I think there setting us up for a big fall with all this space cadet training and the Great Mission, feels like im watching GunBuster, the 26ep edition (without the physic breaking Buster Machines).

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni ep1 - Surprisingly good first episode. The first few seconds of footage before the OP are brutal and left me thinking . Then after the OP it's a totally different atmosphere. It's like that throughout the whole episode. There's cute/happy/comedy parts and then the serious parts. There's obviously something going on as no-one seems to want to talk about the "incident". Art and animation could be better but it's not terrible IMO. That scene just before the end was kind of creepy

that girl who's been acting all ditzy/really happy throughout walking around with a meat cleaver or something. Meanwhile the main guy finds out about the murder.

Another show for me to follow, as I'm interested in seeing what the hell that first few seconds was all about and also finding out more about the incident. Seems like it could be a pretty decent story. Well worth checking out the first episode IMO, I got the subbed version from Ayu which was good enough for me.

Should be checking out Zegapain ep2, Tokko episode 1 and finally getting started on Aria ep1 soon.

edit: So I've seen Tokko episode 1. Lots of blood and limbs flying about some tits on show for good measure. That about covers the "sickness" of the show if you will. IMO there's nothing sick about it judging from the first episode, just gory in places. First episode was pretty average IMO, about a special police force that hunts demons/weird creatures. I'll give it a few more episodes to see if it improves, I think it's only 13 episodes long anyway so I might end up watching it all the way through.

Keroro Gunsou episode 9(out of 106 which was the latest one shown in Japan) released by Doremi. It's been a couple of months since someone released episode 8 so I'm well chuffed. Great show as well, really funny in places, just a shame it isn't subbed more regularly. Also Gintama has been subbed by bakaneko. Not seen it yet but I've been looking forward to it, supposed to be quite funny.

Suzumiya Haruhi ep2 and 3, brilliant stuff, the animation is still insanely high,

Haruhi putting together random people for her club was excellent and the ?procuring? of equipment using Asahina tits and the flyer?s campaign = total quality. I pretty funny every time that guy as to race for the exit when she decides to get changed, and that little moment he has with Asahina?s still warm clothes?. I don?t think I stopped laughing when Asahina told him ?If I become ruined before marriage, you?ll still have me? in such a sad, sad voice. It also looks like it going to go scif-fi to with this alien thing, I had suspicion when the cat talked during ep1. Also it does seem that episode 4 is episode 7 in the manga timeline, or so I?ve been lead to believe.

Agreed. I particularly liked some of Kyon's narration in episode 3 as well e.g.

The bit where he says "To be honest I can't get enough of that outfit. My passion is running wild" and then later on when he says he wouldn't mind seeing Yuki in a bunny outfit either.

As for the cat thing, there's also another hint. If you go back and watch the last episode again, towards the end of it the other guy in the movie I think his name is Itsuki also uses his powers and the thing is when he uses them the "special effects" are so much better than any of the other effects used in the movie, which kind of hints that it might not have been part of the movie but he did actually use that power. It's just before the witch gets blown away

. I didn't find ep3 as funny as the other two but I get the feeling that's down to the fact they were trying to get a little bit more serious and start introducing the plot. Still found the episode to be on the same level as the previous ones though. Very good stuff.

Saw Gintama double bill as well, basically eps 1 and 2 in an hour special. Apparently it's not the start of the actual manga storyline which is supposedly starting in episode 3. It was pretty good I thought, a fair few moments that made me LOL and I can definitely see this turning out to be very good in the future. Even referenced Bleach at one point, although it was just one line. Setting seems pretty unique and interesting. Basically a bunch of Samurai struggling to get by in the future where Earth has been taken over by Aliens and swords are outlawed or something. It follows three freelancers who'll do anything for money. Some interesting side characters as well. It all seems quite crazy at times. Only Bakaneko have subbed it, there's a few grammatical mistakes and one or two timing errors but it's nothing that detracts too much from the whole experience. Will be keeping up with this one as well since I can't get enough of comedy animes it seems.

Also saw another new show called The Third. Subbed by Ayu and no complaints with the subs. It's another action anime but I've got to say the first episode was better IMO than most of the other action animes I've seen this season. I think I only enjoyed Utawarerumono/Air Gear more. There's some nice action in that first episode. The setting is post apocalyptic, the planet's covered in desert I believe. The main character reminds me of Shana in a way, but perhaps that's just down to the girl with swords thing. Art and animation were pretty decent. Solid first episode and another series I'll be checking out.

Finally got around to watching .hack/roots, settings quite different from ?the world? the last time saw it, players attuides still(lots of PK) and weapons have moved beyond swords(that guy Steam gun arm looks ace) and there are different races insteado just humans and as confirmed this series takes place in ver.02 of ?the World?, so it certainly set after the events of twilight and seems there?s an evil version of Kite in the opening credits would suggest he might be this friend, this new player is talking about when he told to go play ?the World?.

Seems to be a mix of //Hack seriousness?n?art and //Twilight action.

School Rumble ep3 - Weakest episode of the lot in terms of comedy IMO, though it did have it's moments such as

the bit where we see that kid that Eri's butlear brought up, okay it was a similar thing to what happened last time but it still made me laugh. If I'm not mistaken that might have been a reference to Gunslinger girl(I haven't seen the anime just seen pics of one of the characters and in the flashback at least the kid looks very similar)

Still an entertaining watch.

Ohran High School Host Club ep 3 - Funniest episode of the shows I watched during the week IMO. This series just gets better and better. Favourite bits include

The whole physical examination, particularly the Haruhi cosplay scene and the reaction from the girls, the twins and one or two of the other guys in the club. Just could not stop laughing at that bit. Also liked the "you're obviously just homo side characters comment" earlier in the episode. Again some of the signs that popped up added to the comedy, particularly when that old doctor started his story.

couple of other shows like nana ep3 and fate/stay night plus 3 episodes of Blood+ to catch up on.

l like the way there slowly getting small Nana together with that guy in the flashback. And her closing off that Anso chapter in her life was excellent and stupidly cute(the finger jab I liked the best).

Host Club ep3 ? Indeed top stuff, them getting Haruhi motivated to pass the medical examine and the King?s Haruhi cosplay was top draw funny. As well as the Host Club crime/evil fighting bit with them all striking cool poses.

Kiba ep2/3 ? Kind of enjoyed it, art?s nice and clean but I already getting sick of the main character (I just don?t like him)

and for some reason I was really peeved off when they killed all those rebels at the end of ep3 and Zed was all in Awe of to Shard Casters, which annoyed more if they have that kind of power and skill what was the point in murdering all the rebels, which seemed where doing it for freedom.

Got plenty to watch, Stellvia ep18-26, SRs2 ep3, FSN ep16, Black Lagoon ep2, Aoki Soccer ep14-16, Air Gear ep3, the third, XXXholic ep3, AMG tv season2, Angel heart ep12 and plenty more I can?t remember?

Nana 3 - agreed with Tobal really. Nice episode all round, no complaints from me. A lot of people seem to have taken a disliking to Pink Nana(forget what her last name is) calling her such things as a slutty, whingy bitch. I can understand where they're coming from but maybe I'm the only one as she hasn't really annoyed me at all so far. In fact I found her to be quite funny in these first few episodes. Particularly the way she'd go from one boy to the next in the blink of an eye. Looking forward to finding out more about the other Nana in the next episode.

Black Lagoon 2 - Another great episode better than the first IMO, although I've got to say some of the stuff that happened was a bit farfetched(you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it). Still didn't stop me from enjoying it though, very nice and stylish action sequences. The animation and art has been as about as good as the first episode. Didn't really notice any morphing faces and/or irregular animation. Surprised me as I wasn't expecting a lot from it when I downloaded it.

What's Aoki Densetsu Shoot like? I've been keeping up with the downloads since I've usually liked most of the sports anime subbed by Saizen, but I've not seen it yet. Is it full of one guy taking on whole teams by himself or is it more realistic?

Black Lagoon ep2 ? LoL holy hell, if your gonna take down a helicopter Gunship, that?s not the way I would have thought you could do it,

when Rock mentioned the plan I thought he meant something like blowing up the boat with the copter above it, but using the boat as ramp to fire torpedo?s at mid air. The shot of the torpedo smashing through the window and hitting that merc in the face was class, it even funnier that the torpedo didn?t exploded. ?We?ve picked up a crazy one here, Levi?.

Aoki it?s no whistle, it more like Wild Striker in terms of players having there own special skill, animation is very good but the art is old school(it is early 90?s show) and the keeper looks lead the lead from YYH, I keep expecting him to use ?Spirit Gun?. At the moment there using individual skill to win matches, with the 3 main?s being Striker(insane left foot strike), Attacking Midfielder(lots of flair moves and stamina) and a keeper(Guts power), all watched over by an ace striker that once trained in Germany or something, I can see when they start playing the harder teams they?ll all have to work hard together to win.

Suzumiya Haruhi ep4 (or should that be ep7 ) - Another great episode. Animation and art is still as good as ever, no noticeable drops in quality for me at least. Personally I think this was almost as funny as the first, there were some great scenes in there.

Loved the whole baseball game and the buildup to it. Once again Suzumiya has a penchant for torturing poor Mikuru. Thought the bit where they came out in cheerleader uniforms was great, the general uselessness of everyone except Suzumiya was funny. Yuki casting spells on the bat to help them win. Loved it when Suzumiya was signalling a play to Mikuru who didn't have the slightest clue what she was on about.

Well it seems for certain that they all pretty much have powers now. Since we skipped ahead in the timeline with this episode and Itsuki (the new guy in the club) was talking about the previous "incident" with what looked like some sort of monster. Plus the spells Yuki was casting. There's also Mikuru who almost blurted out something about time, which makes me think she might have time travelling abilities.

. Definitely an interesting way of doing things. Don't know about anyone else but for me this series just gets better and better. Looking forward to the next episode as it should start filling in the gaps between episode 3 and this episode.

Saw a new show called Dai Mahou Touge. Seems to be some sort of crazy gag show along the lines of Dokuro-chan. Worth checking out the first episode at least IMO as I thought it was pretty funny. Particularly the

The whole scene with the vegetables as they were making themselves into curry. Then there was the flashback to how she met her cute and cuddly mascot which I thought was great, had me laughing at quite a few bits, especially because having been introduced to the mascot I was expecting some sort of cute and fluffy land with loads of bright colours and smiling faces. The reality on the other hand...

. I got subs from Doremi & Spork who incidentally are doing Peto Peto San. No complaints from me.

Still to watch Zegapain ep3, Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni(been waiting for this one) ep 2, xxxHolic ep3 and catching up with Ueki/Blood+

The Third ep1 ? Samurai girl in a sand tank action, vs monsters, I enjoyed it. The narration of her thoughts is dammed annoying though.

TOKKO ep1 ? Not EL level for sick violence, but quite close and is certainly a better story already, demon things kill people, special police force TOKKO Kill the demon things with swords, que craps loads of body parts flying left and right + Boobs. I can almost tell tentacle rape is just a few episodes away?

Aye Suzumiya Haruhi ep4 is ace and as the preview for ep4 in ep3 said, ep7 is indeed ep4 , Total comedy.

Every from Yuki catching the ball when it would hit her to any of the main guys narration comments, I think my fav of the episode was something like ?Baseball, is saving the world only worth this much?. I think Mikuru may well be the a Future Combat Waitress like the video cosplay made out , which would be ace.

Blood+ 23-25 ? they almost, almost did something exciting for once. At least they did something unexpected

and got Riku killed, and then turned in a chevalier. Still Saya being totally fecking useless in combat vs anything but the lowest vampire thing makes for a frustrating show, and even when she goes ?Nuts? she still can?t hit the broad side of a barn.
