Also saw the other two new shows. Kamisama Kazoku is light fluff with a bit of romance in there. Seems to be a triangle forming here. I enjoyed the first episode, some decent laughs to be had. Nothing spectacular IMO but it makes a lovely replacement for Kage Kara Mamoru so I'll keep watching for the time being. It's only 13 episodes long anyway apparently.
Demonbane - Not quite sure what to think at this point. The first episode didn't exactly hook me in any way. Seems to be a mecha show with a gothic/magic twist. Not horribly bad so I'll give it another couple of episodes before deciding. Can't say either of the two shows are definitely worth watching unless your into either of the genres, which I am with Kamisama Kazoku.
@saif: I would suggest Fullmetal Alchemist the manga as it is supposed to be different enough from the anime to warrant reading it, and also Death note which I believe was serialized in Shonen Jump so the reading level shouldn't be too high. The story also is pretty good where I'm at(only a couple of volumes in) though I hear it goes down the crapper in later volumes. Also I'd second the other suggestions so far. 20th Century Boys is bloody ace as well but I'm not sure what sort of reading level group that is aimed at, worth checking out anyway.
