Suzumiya Haruhi ep10 ? One of the best eps so far.

Kyon ending up in mortal danger from the class pres turning out to be a backup for Nagato, including a kickass fight and of course Older Asahina stealing the show for me and liked the implied relationship between them that could happen in the future. Best laugh had be Kyon saving Asahina?s pics elsewhere instead of deleting them.

Suzumiya Haruhi ep 10 - Agreed. One of the best episodes yet.

Loved the scenes with older Asahina. I'm not sure if there will be a relationship though, people have been speculating that if they do get together it will cause a time paradox causing the universe to implode or something. Your classic tragic romance then . The bit with the class rep was surprising, didn't see that one coming also explains why we didn't see her in some of the earlier "later" episodes. The fight was ace. I love the little touches though such as the fact that after this incident Yuki stopped wearing her glasses. The mole as well on Asahina's chest, can be seen earlier in the series I believe. Quite a few funny moments but as you say the best had to be Kyon saving Asahina's pictures.

School Rumble ep9 -

Loved it, particularly that special move they did which was a ripoff of the manga Tenma read in ep8, only for it to be overruled. Loved how quickly she betrayed them as well. Imadori + Lala is always a winning combination. That class 2-D guy was good as well, just wish we had seen Harry McKenzie involved as well. The confession scene with Satsuki was great, like you said it was a shame she gave up on him in the end. I always though Suou had a thing for Hanai anyway, didn't think she liked Asou. The doctor/nurse that lived with Harima in the first season had her moments as well, particularly because she didn't have a clue wtf was going on. Again lots to like about it. Best bits had to be with Imadori though, I think he's been one of the stars of the season never mind this episode

Black Lagoon ep7-8 ? good show,

not much action in ep7 but we did get a bubble-gum chewing, gun toting nuns and the ace Rock/Revi stand off where Rock pretty much had Revi on the back foot for most of it which is certainly a first, and the Russian Hotel boss shifting though porn for some reason (blackmail?) and Revi commentating on the girl taking it the ass and going ?wow? and Rock?s reaction to it. And ep8 is class with that south American maid out to kick some ass, the preview for the next episode looks brill, also I hope they don?t kill of that maid looks like a class act of a character.

Black Lagoon - Not too much action but the episodes were good regardless.

Agreed about the new character, she could be an excellent addition to the cast, as long as they don't kill her off. Loved Rock in episode 7, my respect for him as a character really grew, as he actually grew a pair and fought back against Revy making some pretty valid points in the process. The cigarette scene was quite touching and perhaps hinting at some romantic interest in the future. Was laughing quite hard at the porno editing bit, particularly all their expressions.

Episode 8 was all about the maid really. Sets us up nicely for what should be an action packed next ep. Don't want to get people's hopes up but apparently the next ep is rather special.

Gintama ep 4 - Finally out from the subbers. Not as funny as some of the other shows I'm watching but it's been decent. Not been as good as I'd hoped before the season started but it's had it's moments and it's not as bad as some shows. Above average I'd say but I'll be sticking with it for the time being. Has some rather unconventional hero/main characters resulting in some rather strange situations.

Loved the fact that Gintoki was more interested in chasing after the lastest edition of the manga than saving the day

Gunbuster 2 news, seems the next episode will be out at the end of August(24 or 25th to be more precise), so hopefully we'll be seeing subs in September/October. And apparently there's a six month timeskip between episode 5 and 6. Enough time for the speculated

Noooo...yakitate japan is over

deffinately up there as one of my all time favourites. such a funny show, i just love all the self referencing stuff in it. like all the parodies, and characters talking about the manga, or this being the last episode.

not sure if the manga ended (at the same time or ever), but i think they managed to pull off a decent last episode with a hint/hope of happiness/niceness for even the main baddy, but still managing to leave it open for the future.

i really hope thats not the last we see of azuma though

As far as I can tell, the manga is ongoing; the last chapter I read was when Kanmuri was being hounded by the yakuza before the scanlations dried up (probably due to it being licensed).

I don't see a lot of people talking about Noein here, which is a shame because it's one of last season's best series. And it's getting even better as it's nearing the end.

The weird character design may be off-putting at first, but it's backed up by pretty solid animation (gotta love the "sketchbook" aspect when Karasu et al. get to work) and an excellent plot. If you haven't done so yet, do yourself a favor and download it. 23 episodes out ATM, subbed by Shinsen.

when the new season started i put noein on back burner to watch the new shows, still downloading the episode just gonne watch them in one big lump form ep 14 to end.

I'm the same really. Noein was one of my favourite shows from the last fall season, saying a lot since there were some real quality shows debuting at the time IMO(Shakugan No Shana, Aria, Paradise Kiss, Black Cat, Mushishi, Karin etc..). I've just decided to wait for the subs to finish before watching it. The last episode I saw was ep 19, one more episode left to be subbed and I'll finish the series off in one final sitting. It's one I'm contemplating buying the DVDs for, only problem being Manga Entertainment have picked up the license for the US. Considering how poor I thought their GitS:SaC release was for the PAL version, I'm steering well clear until I hear decent reviews about it.

The character design for the most part is fine, except for Kuina's design (I believe that's his name) who looks too much like a character out of Samurai Jack, which I don't particularly like. I'm a big fan of scifi in general so the whole setting and premise behind the show really floats my boat. Also helps that the animation as Wild_Cat said has been fantastic on most occasions.

shotgun umbrella, Machinegun/RPG combo suitcase, grenade petticoat. So many nods to the terminator and Revi getting owned, the **** scared looks on Dutch face when that crazy bitch grabs his arm inthe car chase... and the russians mafia preping for an all out war with Roberta.

The next epsiode looks just as good as this one, so i think this show going to be my top 5 for all time just on this 2 eps

Black Lagoon 9 - Agreed. if the last two episodes didn't have that much action, this more than made up for it.

As you say the Terminator references were wicked, really laughed at some of the parts. "Imagine her as an invincible killer robot" and then Benny steps on the gas . Can't believe Revy got owned so quickly. Then again this made is packing some serious hardware. The bar scene was just amazing. Next episode looks like we might get 2 vs 1 with Balalaika and Revy vs Roberta. Brilliant animation as well, goes for the entire show really, there's not been any really noticeable drops in quality.

It's in my top 5 for stuff from the new season and for the year. Overall top 5, who knows. If it carries on like this then it's a possibility. Shame there's only 12 eps(or that's what most are saying), hopefully we get another season as there's plenty of manga material to cover apparently.

Got around to watching Jyu-oh-sei (juuousei) first 2eps, blame it on skipping through the first 5/10 mins and it didn?t look to interesting. Skipped through it again last night further into the episode and it looked pretty good so I decided to watch and had I have to say I really enjoy and I?m also very glad that certain person is dead (unless some miracle happens, my guess is that smelly stuff they had, might be on him and he?s rejected). Got eps 3-5 on the download, the clean art is also very, very good (is it HD?)

I think it is HD. Pretty much every release has been a HD one. Personally I've gone for Black Sheep since they seem to have some experienced subbers involved in it. The show itself, I've only seen episode 1 but I recall really liking it, the only problem I had was the weird noses on the characters and even then it's not enough to really put me off. I'll have to catch it up along with a few others, literally got something like 10-20 episodes of stuff to watch possibly more.

kinder sad it never worked out for them. And the certainly pumped out the animation for the fight, I was hoping every time he got caught in that black goo his hair would turn white as little nod to the future.

Suzumiya Haruhi ep 11 ? Some nice stuff with the computer club taking on the SOS brigade and Nagato getting to shine abit more.

Gash Bell ep70-72 ? plenty of fights, and the show doing what it does best, letting the main and secondary characters get the tar beaten out of them, while actually making you care about them(a rare thing in shounen for me). The stuff with the King EO vs Kid and Folgore getting another crazy demon to fight.

Strawberry Panic ep11 ? guess the main relationship is pretty much set in place now, after that fan serviced summer beach trip which had them apart.

Makes me feels a little sad for Nagisa?s room-mate how seems to be in the same boat as choir girls (roommate loves roommate, but she in turns loves senior girl). They seemed to also hint at Nagisa perhaps becoming Etolie herself in the future. Hopefully they?ll be some kind resolution in the 2x love triangles soon or at least making it known.
