e-gads! that is a pretty brutal thing to inflect on Hagu... not sure where they're taking the story now they've put Hagu out of the action, and the morita family problems seemingly settled

Tokko ep12 - wtf, worest ending of the year award had just been won! a few fans of the manga said there we're expecting it to happen with it being only 12eps but that ending was supper sucky.

Thanks for reminding me about Tokko . Can't believe I sat through it all. Not as bad as some shows but it didn't really have very many redeeming qualities either. Average in pretty much every department IMO and it's not really helped by the ending.

H&C ep 8 -

Well it seems like a lot of the stuff has been tied up as you said. I guess it's just going to be more of the same, life goes on sort of thing now. But you won't hear me complaining. Felt sorry for Hagu, especially after that little monologue she had in the last ep about wanting to "open all those boxes". It seems to be headed for them all splitting up and heading their separate ways, which is sad but quite realistic. Since the start of the season I don't think I can recall a time when they were all together unlike say most of the first season when all of them always seemed to be together doing stuff. Leaves me rather depressed as I know the feeling all too well.

Bokura Ga Ita ep 4 -

Seriously I love this show. It doesn't fail to leave me with a smile on my face after watching. Whilst I've heard complaints about the voice acting and the slow pace. They don't bother me at all. In fact I've really grown to like the voice acting, particularly Nana-chan's voice actress when she does the pissed off voice with the swearing and stuff. Nana-chan has to be one of the cutest characters I've come across this year. Some favourite bits include the end scene with the kiss. The bit before where she was dreaming of a wedding and says "I do" was pretty funny. There was her little pissed off moment when she changed her saying from "Die idiot" to "I'll beat the crap out of you" when Yano said it was too simple . Yano's a weird one, he seems to blow hot and cold towards her but things always seem to end on the right note. I'm interested in finding out the deal between Yamamoto and Yano as well, I wonder why she hates him.

Edit: Also isn't Hollow Ataraxia a sort of fanservicey extra few chapters or something? If so, I guess they'd make for great OVA material. I wouldn't be surprised if it did get animated as I'm pretty sure FSN was quite well received(don't quote me on it though) in Japan.

Bokura Ga Ita ep5/6 - Sickeningly cute ,

the interaction between Yano and Nana is brilliant, can't get though of them specially when he's teasing her. ep6 certainly the best episode yet, the stuff is Takeuchi's sister is ace, nana talking about Yano hold her until he gets to her boobs and suddenly her little inner talk stops and she deny's him . Also a **** load of foreshadowing, sowing the seed's of destruction for the relationship, i can easily see the 'unfinished buisness'(i took it thats it implied that Yano and Yamato had sex before the scarf burning) coming back to haunt yano, and nana falling into Takeuchi's arms until they somehow make up.... dam good show.

Bokura Ga Ita ? ep7 Oh noesss?

I think I can guess the proper background to his Ex-girlfriend after Nana stumbled across the reason when talking to Takeuchi about Yano crying. After his ex cheated on him the first time, he ended up with her sister(after make friends at sitting next to each other at school), ex catches them at it she goes to her ex?s and ends up in that car crash! Also Takeuchi at smart one, have to say he saved Nana?s ass when he at first didn?t turn up and reasoned with her to get the present on her own, and Yano stalking Nana at the same time was pretty funny.

Blood+ 34/35 ? what the hell, Moses death was pretty stupid and unneeded as Kai had forgiven him and he wasn?t suffering from the thorn, which leaves Lulu as the last remaining Sif? about the only good thing to come out of those episodes was James?s craziness.

Again another wtf! When did this feudal states stuff become Gundam, Mecha vs spears just isn?t fun after the 3rd or 4th massacre and that girl empress is stupid fool for allowing herself to let her idiot generals crush every other nation. Can?t wait for ep22 seems something bad certainly going to happen to youngster.

Strawberry Panic ep 19-20 ?

Not much going on besides lots of crying, cookie and Yaya being forgotten by Hikari and almost treated like a criminal (all she did was grope her a bit, forgive her already you selfish bitch?). And dammit Tamao, you made the confession but it was in her sleep (follow by a little preview talk which was quite funny).

Haha. Yeah that was my first reaction. Good episode I thought, loads of action and we get the setup for a bit of a showdown. I was kind of hoping that bitch would get taken down by that barrier but oh well. I hope they take her down eventually and if it does happen, I for one will not be sorry to see her go. She deserves it.

Nana 18-19

Some emotional episodes although 19 had its fair share of comedy moments which were surprisingly centered around Nana O, I particularly liked the bits about cigarettes being banned. Looks like they've shot down your hopes though, Toba, of a NanaXNana pairingl. NanaXRen ftw, I was hoping they'd get back together and to all intents and purposes they have. Really pleased with that. Felt a bit sorry for Yasu though, throughout the whole thing he's been a true friend and it's just a shame he was up against Ren as he'd have been my next favourite to pair up with Nana O. I wouldn't mind seeing Yasu and Hachi together, just for laughs. Surely Hachi's going to get fired from her job after all the **** she's pulled, funny as it has been I certainly wouldn't employ her. Loved the bit at the end of ep 19 as well with Takumi opening the door to their apartment. Thought that was sweet of Nana O.

Honey and Clover ep9 ?

wow that some dam show strength by Hagu to refuse painkillers to feel anything from her right hand, some great touching moments like YamadaXNomiya, Yamada with Hagu and Shou looking out for Hagu. Hopefully Takamoto will take the job he?s been offered as I can only see Hagu despairing at ?ruining? Takamoto?s life.

Shizuna seems to have gotten her resolution(well almost, yet to see what happens about the Nagisa stuff) and accepted Miyuki, someone who?s always been there for her, although it was pretty cruel to play her emotional near the start of episode when she kiss her. I?m hoping Shizuna apologises to Nagisa for leading her on and turns her attention back to Miyuki, while this allows TamaoXNagisa . Still yet to see if anything get sorted about Yaya.

Bokura Ga Ita eps 5-8 -

Finally caught up with the releases. Good stuff all round. Particularly liked the interaction between them in eps 5 and 6, as Tobal mentioned. It's been like that the whole series but those episodes sort of highlight it I guess. Too many moments to go over in the space of these 4 episodes so I won't bother with all of them. One of my personal favourites had to be episode 8, with the whole sex thing. Nana-chan's mum bursting in without knocking, getting suspicious of her visiting Yano's house etc.. Also really enjoyed all of the scenes at Yano's house when they were alone together. Having seen episode 8, I'll have to agree with Tobal and say that the reason Yano's ex was in the car that day was because she caught him having sex with her younger sister. Will have to wait until it's properly revealed but yeah there was more to the incident then there appeared to be after ep 3 was it(?) when they first revealed the background to the situation. If it is true I'll gladly take back my words on his ex, as she wasn't entirely to blame for the situation.

Went past in a flash really. Finally get to see some of Hakuoro's past and how he first met with Eruruw. It(his past) was as much of a WTF moment(I'll be surprised if anyone saw that coming) as the mechs, which seem to be organic demons(?) judging by the blood spurting out when Hakuoro was kicking the crap out of them. I wonder how they'll explain him being there but my guess is some sort of time travel. I mean in his flashback he's in this really advanced looking laboratory whereas in the present he's in a feudal sort of setting. Aruruw annoyed me a bit with refusing to go back in the fight and it seems like she was brought back to life by Hakuoro's demon form. The disappointing thing for me was that psycho bunny didn't get his comeuppance. I'd have loved to have seen him squashed by Hakuoro as he was running off. Incidentally that was pretty funny when he was running away shouting for his mum or someone to help him. Hopefullly he'll get squished soon. Looks like a Yuzuha centred ep up next.

(new)Hellsing Ova2 - Holy Cow, this is so much better than the old Ova, Luke's knife dancing was as hypnotic as it was sick, the police girl is so much better in this as well the anti tank gun reaks of awsomeness. Hurry, hurry, Hurry.

The previous trailer had parts from 2nd GIG in it, I can't recall anything striking me as spoilerific in this one though. Really looking forwards to this, it's just recently aired in Japan, the sooner some subs come around the better.

Zero No Tsukaima ep 9 -

Loved Louise's lovey-dovey personality for most of this episode. Siesta also really seems to like Saito and that's without the help of the love potion. Again, I saw most of the stuff with Tabitha and Kirche coming a mile off, not least because they made sure to point out the flooded lake and well as soon as Saito and the others got there it was pretty easy to figure out. Feel like a broken record, but all the predictability doesn't make it any less enjoyable IMO. I loved Louise's reaction once the potion's effects had worn off, I was also thinking along the lines that she might forget what happened but having her remember everything was a nice touch. I'm tempted to read the novels once the translation gets under way. NHK ep 8 -

Misaki and Satou made a nice couple IMO and as it seems like that other girl is with someone(at least that's what I took from the previous eps) hopefully this relationship becomes a reality. Nice episode all around and with loads of cute moments mainly centering around Misaki. Satou's mum seems to be one of the most normal and nicest people in the show. I mean if my mum caught me with those sorts of mags I probably wouldn't be around to be typing this, not that I have any of course <_<
Unfortunately the animation was piss poor and inconsistent, there was one scene when they're on their date and are walking along and it just looks so awful. The movement, the arms and their legs. About the only really negative thing I have against the episode but hopefully with the DVDs they may correct these things. One of my favourite shows from the summer season along with H&C2, Zero No Tsukaima, Kemonozume and Bokura Ga Ita. I will definitely be checking out the manga sometime after I've finished with the anime.
