Minami-ke ep 7 - I wouldn't say it's side-splitting funny myself but I did laugh out loud more during this episode than any other one of the series and any recent anime I've seen (with the possible exception of Clannad, I'd also add I haven't seen any new genshiken yet so that may change), so it's doing something right. Probably the funniest segment for me was the ongoing drama that Mr Jeff mentioned. The legend of Banchou Haruka was pretty class too. So business as usual really. My thoughts on the series so far haven't changed much so I probably won't bother repeating them for fear of sounding like a broken record. Definitely one of the best/most enjoyable shows in the fall anime season (of the ones I've watched anyway). Ep 8 is out too and hopefully I'll be able to keep up to date with the series now that I've finally caught up. Next up finishing Darker Than Black and catching up on Genshiken!

Gunm00 ep8 - just what the hell!!!

what was the stupid point of Seiei breaking his cover like that, its just so, so stupid. It ruined what was a decent episode.

Minami-ke ep8 - the sports guy Hosaka with an episode mostly to himself, totally owning all the jokes, the guy is just a total nutter

and loved the opening with the little girl Maki and Hosaka's simulation with great touches like the manly rain or manly snow on his head while 'saving' Haruka, the "i like you bit", his flirting with cooking(complete with half a striptease) and fish hugging.

Lovely ending to the Fuuko arc. Very sad and bittersweet but leaving a rather happy note to end it on. Next up, the Ichinose arc!

Love this series. Every week, it leaves me wanting the next episode without fail.

Pretty gutting to watch Fuko go, but at least it wasn't her dying in her coma which i was expecting so it turned out better than i had thought. the to bits that really got me were the oldman bit and of course the goodbye

So Yuuji's Keeper is Silver... which means Silver is a Flame Haze and not a Tomogara like i've been believing Silver to have been all this time, wonder how they're going to tie yuuji in to being Silver's Keeper... or it could mean Yuuji is a Tomogara...

Gunm00 ep9 - finally, what i've been waiting for. CB being owned onthe battlefield by better tactics with crappy equipment, though i reckon their superior gundams will eventually turn the tide despite there crap tactics, poor skills(certainly compared to 'aces') and lack of teamwork which i know putting down to them all be rookies compared to the nation Aces.

Watche the first Minami-ke over the last couple of days. Sheer brilliance So laid back with moments of zany comedy. I watched 7 & 8 on the train Sunday night and was laughing out loud at some of it...getting plenty o' weird looks I can assure you.

Lucky Star is also proving to be hilarious!!! Like Azumanga on speed with actual references to other anime / games / music rather than them being alluded to.

Gundam 09: It just goes to show why you should never ever EVER let angsty teenagers run anything on the brdige of a spaceship. They always ****ing ruin it. Still, some good things happening next ep hopefully. I did laugh at the start of the ep when

it shows what looks like an identical twin of Lockon. All we need now is for one of them to fight against a childhood freind who's in love with that one's sister

. Wish Saji and that bint would go away. They have no purpose other than to annoy me.

Dennou Coil 21-22: Wow! Fun fun fun. Finally reaching the point where everything's getting explained. I felt well bad for Isako in 21 though. Despite what's happened, she doesn't deserve that.

I was super surprised by the bombshell they dropped, never expected it and was surprised Isako was just about holding it together, its really heating up now for the final.

Always supected the dog had some sort of hidden function and that Yuko would eventually gain encoder abilties due to having "Imago" but the whole megamass corporate agenda and Isako finding out she was a guinea pig for what was quite a horrible thing to do(making her think her brother was still alive) was a well hidden twist.

Genshiken 2 ep8-9; Loved the Kuchiki scene near the end. He saved it from it being a bit of a non-event really. Definitely adds the much needed humor. As for ep 9...well, the scene at the end I think

they're pushing the Ogiue and Sasahara match too quickly. This is probably down to them only have 4 episodes left but it just seems too much of a sudden turn-around.

It's almost like season 1 was more male-orientated while season 2 goes in for the more female orientated scenarios.

Minami-ke is good, but Lucky Star is bloody brilliant. The first episode has Reservoir Dogs style observations (?Like a Virgin?), with the whole, different ways to eat your food. It had me in tears. I swear my friends and I have had that conversation!! This isn?t that new a series, is it? I notice some places, you can already download the full-season. How come you guys are still watching it? Has it only just recently finished? Does it continue in a similar vain?
