NarutoS 53/54 - oh dear... looks like we gonna get filler mixed in with the training arc... but im actually wondering if they can pull it off this time with them not having to resort to kiddy stories(curry of life anyone) as the manga's left alot of the chunin kids to the side with them only popping up for cameo's (Shika is the exception to the rule). Ah well im not holding my breath

I was discussing this yesterday and its hopefully going to just reintroduce the others alongside Naruto so then after a very small filler arc they can then show

, on the rare occasion they did produce some good filler material and as long as it is combined with glimpses of Narutos training it should make it less of a drag.

As for the episodes liking sai more now and the comedy reactions of sakura shame its another 2 week wait for the next installment. Bit much when you cant get any other anime for now

Kanokon ep 1: Shameless over the top fanservice with foxgirl. I find amusing though because I have that kind of mind. Makes me laugh hearing the voice of Yoshida from Shana doing the voice of Chizuru since it was basically what she was doing in Shana but worse. That and I keep waiting for another familiar voice to say "Emabrassing remarks are prohibited!". First of my guilty pleasures of the season.

ive just watched it and i too found it rather amusing, should be a nice lil non serious show you can switch your brain off and just enjoy hopefully

and talking of VA's was rather amusing hearing Noto doing the VA for Kouta, with little effort to make him sound male

Bamboo Blade ep25/26 - and its over... dam shame as i was really enjoying it and felt it could go for another season(which hopefully it will). The ending while being pretty good and left us with a "this is the next level opponent" sorted out all the problem with kendo in ep25 for self enlightment but felt rushed and could have been a couple of episodes instead. Ep26 was the timeskip wrap up which brought things full circle for a fresh bunch of faces.

They are my noble masters 11-13, decent show in the end and quite glad i kept with it. Some great characters and interactions(even if that colonel bathroom scene was little sick). Lets hope the dvd verison goes uncut

Watched Tower of Druaga ep1 - not lol funny but it raised a smile for me, this could perhaps pick up ball for mmorpg'ish anime where Ragnarok dropped it. Not seen anything of the other 'ep1' so far.

I just watched this, i thought it was hillarious but my humors warped at the best of times. It's just one pure anime cliche from start to finish but i liked it. Hehe love the way characters just die without a moments thought, LOL bam (insert character) has died. Or the taboo word where they mention they are going to go back to their village/get married after the battle & then instantly get bumped off

Code Geass R2 - Turn 01

Yesssss!!!! I only finished watching the first season a week or so ago, so this has come at the perfect time. From what I can remember, it's pretty much a re-imagination of the first episode from season one, with Lelou getting the Geass power - again. Although I'm sure there's an arc in to play out as to the events at the end of the first season and how Lelou came to lose his memory.

Its not a reimagination of the first episode, it takes place a year after the events of the first season. Now spoilered

i presume that Lelouch has forced himself to forget everything, which is understandable considering what happened at the end of the first season.

Yep. I kind of figured we wouldn't be given the answers to exactly what happened immediately. It's just what anime producers seem to do. I assume we'll be given the answers slowly over the course of the season or they may just leave it for us to fill in the blanks.

Wasn't he sort of losing control over his geass towards the end of the first season? So perhaps one side effect is that he loses it totally and his memory along with it in the process? Maybe that's why they needed this situation and needed C.C. to be there to bring it back as it were. Either that or something along the lines of what Zero9x is saying.

I'm just glad it's back and now in shiny HD and with the subbing teams on it, the subs should be coming regularly every week which is an added bonus. Good start to the second season anyway.

Definitely hope they delve into the whole thing with the likes of C.C. and that other guy (V.V. ?). Looking forward to more, all the same.

events surrounding Lelouch regaining the geass reminded of the first episode of the first season (i.e. surrounding by Britannian soldiers, C.C giving him the geass etc.)

Excellent opener all the same, and certainly can't wait to see some of the Knightmares shown on the opening credits.
