Agreed, finally got around to watching it just now. Nice character art, colour etc and quite charming and funny to boot.

Smurf, didn't you learn anything from the first series of To Love Ru? I couldn't take that shizer for two episodes, don't know how another series managed to get green lit.

Also new episode of 2nd season of Sora No Otoshimono was good, had me lolling at all the dodgy situations and that opening amazing.

TLR S2 follows the manga and has the kanokon/Ladies vs butlers staff on it so I was hoping for better things. I'll give the ATX version a try to see if that has less insane cencoring.

SnO S2 looks set to be even more OTT than the first season I was lolling through the whole op.

The World God Only Knows has apparently aired now, hoping that it's as enjoyable as the manga, going to be a tough series to adapt.

SnO:F was great, it does the comedy/serious stuff pretty well and has that nanoha style Gundam'esk feeling to the fights.

StarDriver - very confusing first episode, but made up for by the usual superbe Bones animation which gave it that Eureka7 vibe. Apart from that the best way to describe the last 1/4 of that episode is 'Fabulous', campy robots with self proclaimed pretty boy's... felt abit quick to defeat what looked like a main'ish villian but then this being a Bones show its going to go tits up and emo past ep13.

MM - enjoyed it, him getting off on all the abuse was quite funny, deciding on wether to risk death for pleasure , stick with it for now.

Bakuman - stupid premise but seemed ok, certainly different to everything else out this season.

Got what looks like a couple of samurai catgirl shows to watch... why so many in one season? A show about a Squid girl and that Ghost seeing guy.

Just found MVM's Amazon Market store and was wondering if anyone could suggest any decent box sets from them as the prices look good.
Currently watching Ergo Proxy which looks good but considering Basilisk & Haibane Renmei from them.
Typically a fan of Kon & the quirkier Anime.

MVM? Do you have a link.

I would strongly advise getting Haibane Renmei, it's a great series.

                    MVM's best series:

Slayers (fantasy that's aged a bit but still good, slapstick humour)
                    Black Lagoon (excellent action series)
FLCL (impossible to describe but great, very weird)
Paranoia Agent (hard to describe, mystery show about people getting attack by a bat wielding boy)
Fruits Basket (feel good series. It will make you cry at multiple points, shojou series)
Starship operators (not perfect but as far as I know, it's the only series in the world that has attempted 'realistic' space combat)
Samurai Champloo (hip hop themed samurai series)

Cheers abs, big fan of Paranoia Agent, FLCL & Champloo. Reckon I'll pick up Haibane Renmei based on your recommendation!

Watched The World God Only Knows. Looks set to be a good adaptation, well animated and they got the pacing right.

Only downer was that if the op is anything to go by, they won't be doing the older sister arc.

In fact I did purchase Haibane Renmei and XXXholic series 1 (bargains!)

I enjoyed this too. Another one to add to the list.

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru - SHAFT without the stupid side on shots, pretty much doing the same thing they did with the brilliant Maria+Holic a few season ago, everything fromthe werid camera angles to random insane animation but this time with some quite different art work(for once, if it wasn't for the way it directed i wouldn't be able to tell its SHAFT), almost Gash Bell looking for the main leads, while some of the ugly characters really to look ugly. If you've not seen it yet it about a couple of high school mades in an empty(ish) cafe run by an old lady. Fav show so far this season.

Really? A lot of the camera shots they use were very telling of the sort that Shaft normally go for I thought. Show gives off quite a Natsu no Arashi feel in terms of setting but with a different style of humour. Quite liking the designs of the characters. They're not as thin as most standard deisngs normally are.

Also, Tobal, you might have already but try the first 2 Tamayura OVA's. By the same director as Aria and have a very similar feel to them.

Edit: Just noticed but according to your MAL list you've not seen the Crest/Banner series? This is criminal!
