The RAW for Viewtiful joe is out, so far from poeple that have watched it, the impressions are, its quite good.

Which codecs are you guys watching Naruto on? from episode 82 everything goes dodgy and I get artifacts all over the place. I am watching the AnbuAone subs.

Most fansub groups use XviD for their encodes, which means you should get a recent version of the codec. Assuming you're a Windows user, most groups have a "helper bot" that tells you where to find them (or even better, that sends them to you) if you type a trigger (usually it's "!codecs").

Or go to http://www.codec-download.com/ and get the SLD Codec Pack.


(of course, if you're a *NIX user, upgrading to the latest version of mPlayer, VLC or Xine will do the trick)

Thanks. I gave those codecs a try and I still have the same problem. Any other suggestions??

Mmh... What player are you using?

You might want to give VLC ( http://www.videolan.org/ ) a try, if nothing else works. Its interface is, er, spartan, but it will read just about anything, including corrupted files. And it does not rely on the Windows codecs.

I'm sure that if you go to the animesuki forums (www.animesuki.com) and make a search, i'm certain that it will come up with a few threads detailing this issue - there was tons of complaints about it over there, and most of them had posts detailing what codecs were required for eps 81 and onwards. In fact, that's where I went to look it up and sorted it out myself, so i'm 100% sure that it's there ;p have a browse through the Technical, Subbers, and Naruto subforums, should be there somewhere.

i would say make sure u have the following

latest Divx, Xvid and Fdshow <- the last one is usually the one most people miss

Got round to watch naruto ep103 yesterday.

For filler arc at least they use some decent background, that makes it somewhat interesting with the kid being related to the head intelligence guy as well as including the shadow clone group from the chounin exam. Also i like how they've started at least in the anime to give Sakura some 'backbone' with her ripping up that pole with brute strength was almost Tsuade like, which needs to happen soon.

While the manga 233..

Naruto vs Sasuke finally ended with naruto recording his 1st major loss with an ass kicking, i don't think he'll be waking up anytime soon, the next few chapters are pretty much critical to what happens to naruto, im hoping they show who surivied the fights, more shika/Tenmaru, rock/gaara and then go to a time jump maybe, as i can't see much happening for while with most of the cast in dire way, and sakura/hinta needing amuch needed power boost.

I wouldn't mind some One piece or Hunter X Hunter chapters along with that naruto pie, well at least one Piece, HxH guy is just lazy bum to concerned with YYH to draw or write decent plots.

Also i just watched the viewtiful Joe trailer and ergh it doesnt look upto much and the seiyuu, nah. They should have got Kawamoto Naru (Taka in POT) he would have been sooo much better.

Recommend any series to watch now that champloo is over, samurai 7 is licensed and so is madlax...Is Monster worth watching? I only have one episode.

Still I can get back to Naruto! My two fave eps are rock lee versus gaara and Naruto vesus Neiji. They get me so pumped up!

Am I the only one that has to resist the urge to get slightly emotional sometimes? This is the only show to do this to me.
