New season's underway now.

Mouretsu Pirates - Natural genius at 'space stuff' girl gets given chance to become "Legal" space pirate. This will probably pay tribute to the likes of Captain Harlock by the looks of things, art was pretty decent and the animation strong. seems alright so far, will give it a chance to see where they take the story.

Louise the Zero 3 - more of the same nonsense.

Nisemonogatari - brilliant stuff as expected from bakamonogatari sequel, first episode was pretty much a introduction for the cast again but well worth watching. Dead cert for no1!

Rinne No Lagrange - first mecha show of the season, wonder girl given chance to pilot legendary robot against aliens, CGI seems a step up from the likes of last years Linebarrells. Worth giving a chance for 3/4 eps.

Natsume 4 - more of the same demon/ghost adventuring with natsume (which is good)

Brave10 - assumed it would be some sort of bishoujo-fest but was pleasantly surprised to see it wasn't(much), main girl seems like a copy of of FMP's Tessa. Story looks like it'll go all seven samurai on us but with 10 of them.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear - Singing battle girls fight monsters, with lots people dying needlessly while they sing away... lots of stupidity has to be overlooked to enjoy this one much like guilty crown, check brain at door, watch pretty colours.

Queens Blade 2 - complete crap but i love it all the same, tits out and bouncing everywhere, stupid plot progression and crazy special skills, hopefully most of the old cast will turn up in cameos(had 3 in ep1 alone).

Another - spooky thriller, has an art style and feel similar to ghost hound. Plot centres around boy returning to his birthplace and joining a class which seems cursed.

Aquarion Evol - didn't get past ep2 of the original so all the history stuff is lost on me, seems like the ideas of vandread taken another level, pretty good CGI for the robots and the "union" was about a cringe worthly as it gets.

Amagami SS+ - more of them same from the best high school harem show, no new girls but a continuation of the stories from last time which is alright by me. good stuff.

High School DD - giving queen blade a run for its tit money, but i could barely stand watching this rubbish. Devil girl takes weiner boy and makes him into something after just or before he dies(doesn't explain) to fight angels with glowing fisherprice swords.

np, next couple of shows.

Ano Natsu de Matteru - pretty muh a remake of onegai teacher or maybe even a prequel as the timeline not set at all.. equipment used is earlier 80's stuff and theres no moblie phones(so far) but the cars look to modern but that could be down to CGI cut and past job. This time the alien girl is a student, same arctypes again MC wiener, Best friend playa, Childhood friend(that will always lose in a JCstaff world), simple girl with tits, and the fufufu loli senpai. If you like onegai teacher/twins(like i do) then its must watch, one thing i always liked is that the relationship actually go somewhere even for the secondary crew.

Daily lives of high school boys - comedy skits one after another similar setup to Seitokai Yakuindomo and nichijou but with our the formers crudeness and the latters art/animation budget. Did make me laugh a couple of times, but it would be nice to know if any girls feature regularly as named cast.. instead of props for gags cos i can see the humor running out fast.

Kill me Baby - another high school comedy skit show, this setup being 3 high school girls drawn chibi style, one a dunce, the other an assassin and the last a ninja.. was alright.. i got a luaght out the assassins high jerk reactions to people getting to close (like dislocating wrists), will see how it goes.

Recorder and satchel.. i don't think i can make myself watch this all the way through as the premise is complete turd of a adult is a kid, and the kid is an adult but with out he magic switch around you find in disney type films.

couple of shows left to air now, looking forward to the football manager one.

Area no Kishi - quite disappointed we have another football show but it leans again towards the unrealistic stupid side of the likes of captain Tsubasa/Wild Striker instead of Whistle!, the wiener MC already seems like a pro but with a "crippling" mental problem of being a pussy(it like trying to route for bastard like Busquets). Would have perferred him to start out rubbish work his way up with proper graft like in whistle..

Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! ep1/2 - i expected it to be creepy loli show but was pretty surprised at the first episode setting the brother life up as a uni student. Have to say the 2nd episodes twist can be seen coming mile off.. getting on plane, no problems ,

just shame it didn't focus more on the brother being cut up about sister dying, seemed like he was taking it in his stride.

. Art and animation are pretty good to, keeper for now.

Nisemonogatari ep2 - show of year! Kanbaru for all season!

Been getting back into my Anime a bit lately thanks to re-watching Bleach from the beginning (god I love this show!) but fancy getting some new stuff to intersperse it with & like the sound of some of what's been mentioned but I'm not sure where to go to watch or download the fan subs.

If it's not against the rules can anyone hit me up with some websites to get some new stuff from??

Tokyo Toshokan for me, and you need the latest CCCP as some of the subbers are using 10bit codings now to make smaller files for the same quality.

Far as subbers go..

Quick sub stuff go Commie or Horrible, they use translations off streaming sites and have the fastest Torrents around as lot of people use them and they cover nearly all the shows.

Inbetween you got GG, Hadena, hiyruu, Subdesu, Coalguys, Doki, sage, m33w, just about better than quicksubbed stuff, GG trend to make more use making what there saying understandable in english rather than a straight translation, Hadena some just make **** up.. all have decent coding but GG will throw in undeed adverts for trolling.

Top of the pile is UTW, Mazui, SFwhine, Evetaku(just), SS(static subs)-eclipse, Oyatsu, A.F.K

Not watched bleach(or naruto) in ages, seems to be in a perma cycle of filler for the last 2 years. On a side i picked up a couple more comics/manga to read, The Breakers(+new wave) and Shingeki no Kyojin(Advancing Giants). Breakers is straight up shounen, the MC is pretty much a wipping boy for everyone but what i love about it is he'll always stand back up eat some more punishment, underdogging at is best. And Giants is pretty much EVA(end of the world)/gantz(anyone can die, the finality of it)/Berserk(fantasy violence) mashup, loved reading every minute of it.

I use the haruhichan guide, but my CPU can handle it. Have to use CCCP on my laptop for 10bit though. MadVR is too good not to use.

I switched to MadVR a while back, I have to say it plays everything I throw at it perfectly and it does seem to look slightly better.

Edit: Just wanted to say that Naruto has been really good since Shippuuden really got going. Well, apart from a few bits of filler (which aren't that bad and don't last too long). The arc leading up to the

arc really. And from what I've heard the current arc will be great as well (started 2 episodes ago after a few months of filler). I'd very much recommend watching it.

I'm hoping to get them so that I can play them on my TV...but since you're saying some use a new codec it might not be as easy

I'm only up to about episode 55 of Bleach so far but I just can't get enough...even the filler episodes are great, stupidly funny as well.

Nah, Bleach was watchable / pretty decent up until episode 63 (exactly). Once Ichigo saves Rukia from being killed blah blah and the bountou ac begins. Bleh. I've watched about 230 eps of Bleach, dropped it a few years back.

I'm easily amused with Anime & love DBZ so seeing as this is just a variation on a theme (Ichigo gets powers, fights, loses, trains, gets stronger, fights again, wins & so on) means it gets a special place in my heart.
Glad I found the Sub before the terrible American Dub came out though...just about THE worst choice of voices I've ever heard in an Anime...Absolutely nothing fits the characters, they all just sound so stupid!!
