Going to be watching SnO S2 (OVA in 2 days \o/ ) may check out that series with the masochistic lead, sounds like an interesting setup for a romantic comedy if it's done right.
My Little Sister Can't be This Cute actually was a lot better than I thought it'd be reading the first few chapters of the manga. Thought it'd be heavy on the incest vibe but it's more about a brother getting to know her sister and becoming friends than creepy fanservice.Comment

talking about one piece, ep465 had some touching moments, the bit bettween ace and garp was better done than the manga, and of course the end of the episode had me laughing as i didn't expect it happen till next episode but i love garps reaction. Still 3-4 weeks left till the manga resumes after the timeskip

Sorry, I know this is a thread for "new and current" anime, but I picked up Cowboy Bebop: The Movie for the princely sum of £1.99 the other day.
It's got a great opening and ending, but I lost interest a little half way through as I didn't find the plot particularly gripping. I love it when a plot builds from something simple to a huge masterplan, but this didn't seem to shift up a gear in either action or mystery until the very end.
I didn't hate it, I was just a little underwhelmed.
I must say though, the hand-to-hand combat is probably the best I've ever seen in an anime!
I've picked up Patlabor 1&2 for £3 too. I've not seen them since Manga put them out on video and I keep reading about them and other things remind me of it.
I can't remember much about it (which can't be good), but it struck me as a cross between Runaway (awesome Tom Selleck movie) and Blade Runner. Can't wait!Comment

I absolutely love the Bebop movie!! Truly exceptional stuff. The characters are all brilliant and the baddie looks like my mate!
Kanno's score is exceptional! Every piece of music just fits.
It's got awesome setpieces - the hand-to-hand that Chimpy mentioned as well as some amazing space combat.
Ooh, and Faye...let's not forget Faye!
I have failed to buy the Blu-ray in Japan the last 4 times I've been but it's just soooo expensive at ¥8000! Bloody Bandai.Comment

That's the Cowboy Bebop film in a nut shell. Was bit long in running time as far as I remember but everything else is exceptional in it. Trust Shinishiro Watanabe to make every series he is involved in to the highest quality of production.
