just watched the first episode of iron man.
sorry to say i thought it was absolute crap. dont think i'll be bothering with any more of that.

edit: and the last two extra k-on episodes are great. plus they confirm there will be a movie!

mm is an interesting concept although it seems to serve mostly as an excuse for an extreme tsundere female lead. First ep was entertaining enough, remains to be seen if it doesn't become unbearable as time goes on. Most of the characters weren't very endearing.

Spent most of today watching new shows and last eps.

Finished shows----

K-ON!! ep26 - had more laughs than the last 2 episodes but not as good as ep24 send off, i like that it sowed the seeds of Azusa building her own band and sneak peak at what lead into some of the year book photos. Sad to see the show end and its been one of my favourite slice of life shows along with Honey'n'Clover. Just hope the film doesn't take to long to some out (+another6months for a dvd rip)

Giant Killing ep26, another last episode and probably unlikely to get second season no the world cups been and gone. I like the way they chose to animate the football action with well animated close ups of important action and no stupid flaming power shots or one man shows, much better than Wild Striker/tsubasa and nearly as good as my fav Whistle!

Mitsudomoe - finsihed last week but only caught up with it today, after poor 1st episode the sisters and other characters grew on me mainly thanks to the 3rd sister taking most of the spot light and a crap ton of misunderstanding jokes, definitely worth watching if you like Class 5-2.

Sengoku Basara S2 - after 12eps another Warlord is down, alot of crazy, crazy fights and stuff getting blown up good. The only development we got was for Yukimura maning up to being a general, while others just fought with new people introduced(like Miyamoto, Musashi) and Date got to steal the limelight with a fairly short battle with Hideyoshi at the end which after the later punched the sea away would put up more of a fight after getting only taking 2 hits... sadly Keiji carried on being a bum and the Amphibious tank the saize of a City made me laugh alot, bring on S3.

Ookami-san - stayed average all the way, pretty much a throw away show inbetween index and railgun season. Felt the same, looked the same, even had cameo's but lacked a decent story to do anything with the characters, aside from the fairy tail styled characters(puss in boots, red riding hood, snow white, etc,etc).

Strike Switches s2 - a complete ending after spending only 2eps on plot (ep1 and ep13 ) and the rest of random stuff inbetween. Pretty much stayed only for the Yoshika power-ups and fights(honest...). The ending, well i didn't think they would want to end it so decisively

with Major and Yoshika losing there witch power+equipment and the badguys completely defeated but i guess that

gives them room for season3 with a new roster and new enemies.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama - decent shoujo show, and as expected Mr.perfect and the girl didn't quite get it together at the end, which recently apart from Lovely Complex i can't think of a show that ended with them together.

Still the pres played her role of obvious to Mr.Perfect abit to well for my likely but at least attmided it at the end and it could have done without the love rival to, flawed but kind characters never win in a shoujo world.

had some good ending music to.

Seitokai Yakuindomo - Didn't think having (mostly)only dirty sex jokes would last me over a season but it did . I put that down to having likable charcters, pushing of the secondary charcters in to the limelight which worked well to the point i think judo girl should replace Aria and the shipping of Shino*Tsuda in quite a few quiet scenes, which sometimes lead to the best jokes,

one i remember the most is him getting 2 vibrating christmas presents, specially the second one from shino after a frairly serious scene between the two of them.

. needs a 2nd season.

Heroman - Didn't enjoy the last fight as much as the first big badguy and the lack of plane surfing disappointed to. Decent if forgettable show, peaked with the first bigbad guy fight and then when a bit incredible hulk with the goverment stuff, followed by random filler episodes and a final washington dc one man war vs aliens. Seems it will get a second season as i've read that its strangely popular with the japanese...

And the new stuff.

Looking foward new Genshiken and the Berserk trailers look ace.

Ironman - what happened to all the great stuff inthe trailer , boring first episode and lifeless art don't help, willing to give it fair shake of the stick... it might improve like Heroman.

Panty and Stocking - enjoyed it alot, very crazy in a kind of weird tribute to power puff girls who themselves are a play on sailormoon/power ranger like shows. Do we know if it will stay with these self contained stories or branch out into something massive like Gurren before it.

Not watched anything else yet as Fate/stay night film blocked my download queue for today, so still to watch are Bakaman, MM, Stardriver, SnO s2, Black lagoon ova2 and that litte sister thing.

Where did you see the Genshiken and Berserk trailers Tobal? Can't find any of Genshiken on youtube, did see Berserk but they were only tv spots, looking good though. ^^

no genshiken trailers just the news, used trailers cos berserk has 3 of them around well as described by there youtube title but they only 5 secs long of footage.

Watched Oreimo (believe that's the nickname they're using for it). Fairly enjoyable and manages to avoid being creepy.

Where's the Tokyo Ska Paradise orchestra that was used in the trailers though? I AM DISSAPOINT

I've just finished watching "Oreimo" and I thought it was great!

Looked really nice, my style of character design, and it was pretty funny too.

Looking forward to the next one.

Watched Yasuga no sora. Started off like any other h-game adaptation albeit one where girls are literally swooning over the first character at first sight.

Then it introduced heavy incest stuff. Dropped.

Not bad too, has potential, the first episode was just a build up.

I personally think Bakuman could be the show of the season.
