started watching GITS:2nd Gig over the weekend. Thought the second ep was a bit of a let down. Reminds me of the first serious in the way the first couple were loose stories then as the series progressed they all started interlinking. Does the second series come close to the first in any way?

It gets better, the 1st couple of episodes don't really go anywhere from what i remember but there all linked in someway which you'll undertsand later on, as you say much like the 1st, but most of real one off episodes show the Section9 members before they joined Section9(the best being Saitou(the sniper one) and the major). It's not until you get to P11 does the main story kick off, and just like the 1st series action comes and goes, and they really heats up towards the end of the series(currently subbed up to ep20)

For the past month or two ive been searching for the 50 Gundam SEED episodes... ive gathered up at least 45/50 of them

Hopefully with that last DVD i can complete it and burn all the episodes to DVDs

Anyone watching ?he is my Master?, wasn?t sure what to think of it at first. Seemed to be a run of the mill boy+many girls show, until Pochi the most perverted alligator ever and the bloke who I expected to be another wimp turns out to be the most evil scheming pervert of them all, which makes the show enjoyable.

Just watched the first episode of Eureka 7 and Basilisk, both of them were pretty good IMO, though I preferred what I saw of Eureka 7(it maybe down to getting a badly subbed version of Basilisk which had some pretty good action sequences in).

should i watch gundam seed before watching gunadam seed destiny or is it two different stories?

Yes, you should. Destiny is a sequel to Seed. (which is why I stopped watching it for the time being -- the last Seed DVD should be out this month, once I'm through it I'll resume Destiny)

Been watching the first episodes of Basilisk, and so far my impression of it is that it's got the most painful and ridiculous character design I've ever seen in an anime series. I mean, Tokugawa's chin looks like a giant testicle, FFS!

Has anyone caught Honey & Clover yet? If you guys enjoyed Genshiken, you'll probably like this; it's about a bunch of dead-beat uni students, one in particular who keeps repeating since he's always short on credits to move on. It's all pretty odd-ball, and the intro sequence is very, very original in terms of anime.

Bleach is out, and is alright. Then you get to Naruto 133...

Well, at least we know where all the budget has gone. One of the best episodes of Naruto in ages. Sheer brutality always gets my vote, but this is ridiculous. Watch it, and you won't be disappointed.

Im behind on Naruto, still following the A-one releases so i?m an episode behind. 132 is good episode plenty use of the sorrow&grief song for the flashbacks while sasuke beating the seven shades of crap out of naruto, and judging from the preview it looked like the cgi team being brought out for final bout, and will hopefully carry on over to the next episode of the conclusion of the final attack(if it happens in 133).

Some people have been suggesting naruto going to into another break when this story arcs over, or go into another anime only arc before Kakashi Gaiden? anyone know what?s really going on?

Aye. However, while the animation was absolutely brilliant, I couldn't help but notice that the overall graphics were a bit lacking in quality.

It hasn?t been that bad, Chouji?s fight really didn?t need that kind of animation level, put they did quite well when he powered up, Neiji?s fight definitely needed it and got top animation(as well a 1hr long show), Shika and Chiba didn?t need it either, Naruto vs Kimi really did need top animation but never got it, Rock/gaara needed and got it(mostly), and most of Naruto/Sasuke has had good animation.

I see Trinity Blood's out, I'm getting it now. Anyone seen this yet?

Tsubasa was Ok for the first episode, but the second was so slow, and the design of the street punks anoyingly lazy and generic. I felt like the plot was being beaten into my head repeatedly

Still need to catch up with Speed Grapher 03 - I agree with you, wild_cat abou the Ed music. Duran Duran's Save a Prayer would have been a better choice, or infact anything with an 80's style.
