"They are my noble masters" is probably a follow up to "He is my master"

    Comment

Nah. I've been doing a bit of reading on it, and it's based on a visual novel/adult game that was released last year, whereas He Is My Master was based off an unrelated manga (IIRC). I think any link between the two shows is tenuous at best.

Going back to the previous discussion. In all the time that I've used boxtorrents I've not found anything wrong with it. It's fairly easy to tell when a torrent has mixed files from different groups because in the majority of cases they are labeled as such and you can just check the file list before downloading. They usually mention it in the blurb too. I very rarely use animesuki now for torrents. I find it's made redundant by the other places I use. The forums are great though, for info and the like. Then again I don't really use torrents much unless as a last resort.

True Tears ep1/2 - quite enjoyed it, mainly for the Shinichiro*Noe stuff and noe being batpoop insane, think i'll stick with it being its only 13eps and the animation and art are pretty good.

Persona ep1 - didn't have any problem with ainex mkv file. Anyway seems ok and theres not much like it but would have prefered the monsters to be clear to see instead of being transparent.

H20 ep2 - oh dear.. animation has hit Soul Link levels of badness which produced some unintentional laughs. They also seem to have missplaced the real ep2 with ep3 as im bloody sure the reaction to him not being blind have been completely glossed over its almost comedic that they even bothered in the first place and whatever secret the poor girl has that got, it's been built up so much it can't be anything other than a massive let down. Still i want to see ep3... this show got car wreck smashed all over it and i can't look away much like Soul Link and Sola.

Yeah this entire ep made no sense at all. I assume they're being so sparing on the girl's "secret" because it's so important or something but really, the entire show is making no bloody sense without it! You'd think someone would have mentioned it to Hirose if it was that important but no. Shame really since the first ep showed a bit of promise.

Hatenkou Yugi ep1: Err, what the hell? The pacing of this is mental. it seems to jump around all over the shop. It's quite funny with some of the characters lines though. No idea where the 2nd male lead suddenly appeared from though. They just seem to gloss over reasonably important details with no explanation.

h2o ep 2 - hmm... other than the spectacularly lolworthy animation I didn't think it was that bad. Sure they could have explained some stuff straight away but like most shows of the type they usually keep that sort of revelation for nearer the end (*waits for the next episode to come and prove him wrong). Sola being a recent example and to a lesser extent stuff like Clannad/Kanon. Except in the latter at least there's some decent foreshadowing so you could almost piece it together. To be fair they did have a few bits and pieces in this episode regarding her secret. As for the blindness thing, I suppose it could have been that either

Otoha's magic has altered the other people's memories as well as curing him (probably the easy way out I guess) or that they've jumped ahead a bit to the point where people have already accepted the change.

I will say I agree that it seems such a missed opportunity to gloss over it as they have done. I was hoping they'd do something interesting with it but like Tobal says it seems pointless to have given him that affliction in the first place. I also agree with Tobal in that the big reveal will probably be a massive letdown. What she did couldn't have been that bad to warrant the treatment she is getting, surely? I'm personally not writing it off just yet but it didn't take long for it to falter, did it? Hopefully True Tears 2nd ep won't disappoint in the same way.

edit: Reading through animesuki I came upon an interesting term which might be the reason she gets treated the way she does. Certainly opened my mind to the possibility a bit. http://junana.com/CDP/corpus/GLOSSARY5.html , http://junana.com/CDP/corpus/Theory_.../GLOSSARY.html <-- links related to that term.

edit2: true tears ep 2 - Thankfully no hint of a trainwreck here yet for me. Like last week I preferred it to h2o. Art and animation remaining fairly solid. Noe is... certainly different. Not too much else to mention. Still loving the general atmosphere, music etc... Hope it, at least, keeps it up.

Hmm interesting and stupidly unfair to go around throwing buckets of piss on people.... anyway

Aria the Origination ep1 - it's back and as good as ever including a bigger budget by the looks of, well drawn art and some nice animated 'action' hopefully spell and end of season 2's "quality animation control" near the last couple of episodes. Need to get as better qaulity video to, the .avi from AEN is very SD.

Gunslinger girl 2 - ep1 - Seems while Aria gained a budget, GSG lost its . I haven't watched the original in ages but i certainly remember it being alot better animated(and drawn) than this is, OP/ED music is 'meh' and the background music is terrible, also Henrietta alot more socialable than before. Well at least the cold blooded, unflinching killing is still there.. that shotgun to the chest was nasty even with the cutaway.

actually i'm back for more... just what madness did the makers of season2 catch when having your SECRET MURDER POLICE using LITTLE GIRLS WITH BIG GUNS have fire fights out in the open for everyone to see... this is just so different from the secret ops of season1.

I've heard so many screams of utter hatred from fans of the previous series about what they've done to Gunslinger Girl and from the clip I saw (not finished series 1, oops), it's certainly a radical alteration to how it all was before.

In what way? They're slower, require people to upload and are more susceptible to errors after downloading.

Tokyo Marble Chocolate: Quite simply this: Watch it! It's basically the story of a day in the life of a couple told from each other's perspective with one episode being what happens to the girl and the other what happens to the guy. At time of this post, I've only seen the girl's perspective so far but it's amazing. Beautiful art style, fantastic music and a lovely simple, short story that's just fantastic. Think of 5cm per second and it's similar to the first part of that. Just .

I had it downloaded purely because of the Zenryoku Shounen song. I had originally thought it was some sort of music video for that song. Skipping through the file though had me looking forward to it. And that also reminds me, I still haven't watched 5cm per second yet. I think I'll watch the two of them tonight though .
