As for the other discussion, I don't think they're up on newsgroups "usually before" the torrents at all. I know of one or two groups who upload to newsgroups but that's usually at the time they release and so the episodes are often up at the same time or shortly after the torrent. Most groups don't even bother with usenet. It's just some people will download the releases from whatever method and then upload to the newsgroups and even they don't do it with all releases for that series so more often than not your stuck with one group regardless of their quality. So you're most likely getting the releases later and with very little choice as to which ones.

They are for me, Giganews btw. The groups may not bother but they're certainly up there at the same time or extremely shortly afterwards.

I don't care for differences between groups, never had an issue with subtitles myself as they're always legible and decent.

Ive been watching it since the first episode. I think its preety good, really funny in places.

Just finished Moyashimon. God, I hope they get a second series. It's really ridiculous and has something I totally didn't expect in the last 3 episodes but just really enjoyable.

Finished watching Moonlight Mile S2 ep1 subbed by G_P, the subs were acceptable although they did seem a bit off in places.
From what I could see in the OP it looks like Goro and Lostman are going to be taking different "sides" and it looks like it could follow their story for a few years. All in all im glad its back

How many episodes are there? i thought that episode 8 only got released today.

11 eps. 7 and 8 got done by a group called SEES and 9-11 got done by kiki_delivers. They're speed subs but they're readable enough.

Thanks for the Toyko Marble Chocolate call, lovely little 2 parter. watched the boy 1st then the girls which really i think is the best way to watch it.

Moyashimon is really good, i have SEES speed sub of 7/8 but im holding of getting others as BSS will be out with ep7-11 pack very soon(coming from them).

They Are My Noble Masters ep 2 - disappointing after the first ep but I did think it took a turn for the better during the second half when they were headed to the school. It really does seem like there's no one normal in the show at all. I love how they seem to constantly poke fun at all the different character archetypes.

Even topped the episode off with a VA-related reference to Nodame.

I also like Ren's reactions to the situations he's in, which are not too dissimilar to but also not quite in the same league as Kyon (and his).

Yeah I didn't find the second episode quite so funny. Maybe because they're still really getting into the flow of things with introductions. I did laugh at the

masochist girl though. She was doing some reeaaaallly creepy stuff as they were all talking. And the Nodame refence was great.

Catching up on Bamboo Blade at the moment. Quite a nice series if nothing outstanding. I'm being freaked out since the voice actress of Rena from Higurashi(nagisa from Clannad too) is in it and is being an evil person. She scares me when she does that.

Anyone else having problems geting naruto shippuuden ep43 to work.

I dont mean the broken version that was released but the second one that they supposedly fixed as i try to play it & every single time it plays for 5 secs then crashes windows media player.

(edit) fixed the problem, looks like it needed a newer xvid codec.

ef - a tale of memories - finally finished up this series and it ended up being quite a nice one too. Fairly original and with lots of unique visuals throughout. For the most part the characters were cool, but I gotta say I didn't like Miyako towards the end. Ended quite satisfactorily too, which is unusual as I normally have some complaints with how they end these types of anime. I also loved the music in the series. Particularly the song they play as an ED of sorts for the final episode.

Minami-ke - I'm even starting to enjoy this a fair bit more. I don't know what's happened to me since I last watched it but I've been finding the last few episodes I've seen (8-10) to be quite funny which isn't something I've always assoicated with the series. I particularly like Hosoka(?) that weird guy who fantasizes a lot. Only three more episodes left so hopefully I can finish this off soon.

Moyashimon - finally got round to this and although I've only watched one episode, it's been really lovely. I love the microbes already. One of my favourite bits in the first episode was when

he identified which country some of the samples came from by looking at the microbes and how they talked/acted. Especially the way the Japanese microbes were acting

. Looks set to be a gem of a show and I'm looking forward to watching more of the bizarreness.

More of the fall backlog to bite the dust soon, with any luck.

Moyashimon ep7-11 - omg, i just couldn't stop myself downloading the rest of the subs after ep8 and im glad i did as its easily one of the best comedy shows and always surprising. The whole cultural fair was brilliant escpecially the payoff (lol Oikawa eh? what? WHY? ) and stuff tha happens to Kei = lol,

how he ever got from secret drinking party to discovering he's was born a women in a man's body and thus needs to dress up as hot goth maid is something they need to explain... and the little relationship hints between Oikawa*Sawaki are well done as is Hasegawa slowly warming up to the 3 idiots along with the comedy that produced

i really hope this get another season.

Just finished ef in an attempt to get back up to date with my autumn series. I can only really ecxho what zapp said in his post above this. Some interesting characters and interesting storytelling in it with some superbly done animation by the Shaft team (the call box scene with miyako was great). Glad to have watched it. Oddly, I got more irritated with Kei rather than by Miyako which other people seem to have done. Edit: Forgot to mention; I liked how shaft couldn't resist themselves and put in the green frog thing prominent from their Negima series.

Next up, the Hidamari Sketch special then the last 3 eps of Higurashi kai.
