Yeah, via paypal, basically I was sold a dead JAMMA board on the premise it was working, the seller p*ssed about sending it, now he's doing the same with a refund despite telling me on saturday I'd get a refund, and a free board for my troubles, like I care about the free board, just give me my coin back guv. Haven't heard a thing since saturday now.

\\o I guess I'll leave it a couple more days and then get a paypal dispute on the go.

Hi Kernow..have you opened up a ebay dispute? it doesn't always work, but perhaps it might make the seller be more serious towards you.

I've lost count of the amount of times i've been conned, 4 times this year i know, but more in total.

Anyway, if you haven't...get a dispute open, you can do it from the options on the bought item on your ebay page.

You can actually request the buyer's contact details, iirc. I had a dispute a while back with an eBay buyer over a copy of Championship Manager. I got his number from eBay and contacted him. He then personally refunded me.

Other than that, PayPal should be able to sort you out, as others have mentioned on this thread.

Do both, the seller might want to resolve it faster. I've had joy from the ebay dispute before..takes you about 4 minutes to open it.

There is an option in the ebay dispute to open it as item not as described e.t.c which is exactly your case.

paypal claim opened, theres no reason why he'd respond to that if he's not responding to me via email though, oh well!

I don`t understand why ebay don`t take a tougher stance on traders that take the piss.

I bought 2 pairs of Diesel jeans a couple of years ago (?60 each) and they were obvious fakes. I told ebay and they didn`t want to know. I should`ve informed the police but I just put it down to experience, I wouldn`t these day though.

I wouldn`t mid if the people that I bought them off had no feedback but they were power sellers so, who can you trust?

Yeah and do it quickly, so he don't have the time to take the money out and cancel the paypal debit in his bank. I was too nice to a guy here and thats what he did I think, so no money for me....

So long as he doesn't cancel the DD you're fine - paypal will just take the money back out of his bank account (!!!!!). Which is nice of them.
