        Advice

I paid almost ?100 for a Fighter in the Wind Limited Edition DVD on ebay and since making the purchase on thursday the seller has ingnoring my emails and simply wont respond or confirm the goods have been sent.

        What should i do now?

          how did you pay?

I paid with paypal. What gets my goat is the guy responded to my mails withing minutes before the auction ended and now he just aint replying.

Maybe he has other things to do than check his mails or maybe he is just a **** seller but i better hear something soon.

That sucks man. I've never had a bad experience, but obviously things like this happen. Have you alerted ebay to the problem yet?

My GF had a very similar thing on Amazon Market place for an expensive textbook she needed in a (relative) hurry. The lady never ever replied once.

She contacted Amazon and lodged the A_Z complaint thing after thirty days. Amazon credited her card a few days later and it's with them now. We never have to bother again. I was very impressed.

Does Ebay/PayPal not do the same?

Woo Hoo, the seller finally responded just now and i should have the set any day now.

Checked with ebay last night and im covered with paypal standard protection as i paid with paypal so if the sale did go tits up i could have claimed back ?120 minus ?15 processing charges so it would have only have been a small loss.

                    Thanks for the help guys

?15 processing charges, yeah right, more like a ?15 we are going to screw you even more charge.

Did anyone see the watchdog report? It is about time E-bay started providing a real protection policy! They recommend people not to use bank transfers etc yet they rip sellers off by not only charging 5.25% on the final price, but also around 3.25% with Paypal. Therefore Sellers are stuck in a catch 22 situation: they either continue to use Paypal, while losing a lot of their money, or they refuse to offer Paypal, receive fewer bids and are looked on as dodgy sellers.

never realised you could "buy" positive feedback - that is just a fookin joke tbh.

exactly-and the managing director said they ran filters, well i've just run a search and found loads of advertisements including this one

Not work safe-well you can't really see anything, but still!

Looks rough dude. Fookin ebay - filters must avoid "porn" and other hard to find things like "postive feedback" etc etc

i think i might advertise negative feedback-see what idiot would buy it. Probably the same kinda people who buy watches in a car park and are F**kin surprised to find that they are fake.
