This dosent suprise me in the slightest ive sold a few things on ebay recentley and both have gone for silly prices.

However Ico sold so badly but through word of mouth people now want to play it. If there's not enough copy's to go around and enough demand surely these kind of prices will only increse?

It's a stunning game and if I dident own this game then I would consider forking out for such a gem.

Bloody hell! I know it was rare, but I didn't know it was that rare.

If only there was a crystal ball to tell me what games become rare in the future - then maybe I'd have taken more notice of just where the hell I've put my PS1 Suikoden 2 copy!

ICO's content makes it worth any price in my opinion - it's gold dust.

However, in terms of units, sealed PAL versions have gone for less recently. One thing is for sure however, copies will become more hard to obtain in the wake of Colossus. I can see more people hanging on to their copies unwilling to sell, meaning that the sealed versions still available will be pushed further into the limelight.

Bought one for myself, but then sold that when my last PS2 went. Ended up buying the "greatest hits" version from Play-Asia as prices are too high now, in my opinion.

They'll rise due to the slipcase, as the cardboard won't hold in prestine shape in a few years time.

I do agree ICO itself won't be difficult to get a hold of though. If Sony were astute, they'd take advantage of the awareness they've generated around Shadow of the Colossus, and order another print-run (even if it's only a budget print-run) of ICO in Europe and America.

Am I being scammed?

Ahoy I'm a bit suspicious of this ebay sale I'm thinking of going through with. It's for a guitar, the guy has sent me pictures of it and seems like a nice bloke. I asked him about the guitar when he was running the auction, but I didn't end up winning. However, he contacted me and said that the guitar is still for sale as the buyer pulled out. I agree to buy it for ?800 which is about ?200 too cheap, he could easily get ?1000 for it. He sends me this invoice that I've never seen before. I had a thing that came up when i opened the invoice saying `sender ID could not be varified` does this mean anything? The invoice is asking for `money gram transfer`. I could be perfectly fine and I'm just paranoid, but money gram sounds like something a scammer would use. Heh they always ask for money transfer things.

I emailed him and asked could i pick the guitar up, and pay him in cash or whatever he wants but he hasnt replied. What do you guys think, is it dodgey?
