I can't see him getting ?45 for the PS1 version as the Saturn one doesn't even make that sort of price these days.
PS1 version is much rarer and can command that sort of price. Ditto for the Gradius Deluxe Pack.

Anyway, sounds like he's just pissed that he got next to nothing for such a rare game. If the auction ended, and you've paid for it...well, it's now yours. If it doesn't turn up, take the seller to the cleaners.

Sent this seller a nasty email question via ebay, stating that he was attempting to mislead people with his auction, with it unlikely to be available in the spring of 06, and that I hoped ebay remove his auction,
probably shouldn't have bothered, but felt a bit annoyed to see someone trying to do this.

starting to get annoyed with some ebay sellers

they're stating they dont charge paypal fees which is cool but they want ?2.50 for shipping

just got a game which i won for a decent price and he charged me ?2.50 shipping ontop so i thought that would include recorded delivery

no no no - all i got was a second hand jiffy bag and postage was ?0.64, item survived okay but i seriously thinking about posting a negative

just won another last night and postage recorded is ?3

i dont mind paying paypal fees but why try and hide it in the shipping costs

          fekkers </rant over>

Check the shipping costs before you bid! Lots of people do seem to bump up their prices by overcharging with shipping. Just don't bid if it seems unreasonable.

The thing is people charge you ?2.50-?4.00 (sellers standard fee). You then think that as the seller has charged extra they will send the item nicely packaged and well protected in a box etc, only to find it's been slung in a 2nd hand padded envelope.

If the item was otherwise ok, I'd leave them neutral feedback.

totally agree and i fecking hate it

i kinda pride myself on the fact i know how to wrap a parcel and pack something, but even then i will only ask for the postage as normally i have boxes or packing material laying around my room

Edit- Dyou think i should let the seller know and see if he'll reduce it. Dont want to piss him off though.

I would definately contact him and ask why he's charging so much.
                          No harm in trying?

I have left neutral feedback in the past- and the recipients went mental. They really got pissed-off and sent me crazy long winded emails about lack of respect etc...

alot of people dont know standard parcels exist - which is an excellent service that offers loads of insurance
