I feel the same way, he was super-arrogant in 250s which was arguably justifiable, but I hated the fact that he rarely acknowledged his fellow competitors as being in any way equal (kind of why I also don't like Simoncelli much) but since he moved up he seems to be slightly more humble, and he's definitely still maturing - I hope he wins this year as I couldn't stand to see Pedrosa getting the title.

Good win for Pedrosa on sunday though, I was half expecting him to bin it in the second half of the race, but it never happened so fair play to the little fella. Best part of the weekend for me was seeing Stoner actually having a bit of a race. Okay so it was only for fourth place and it was against privateer bikes, but he still went for it on the last lap which was nice to see. Shows he had a bit of confidence in the machine, plus it was nice for the fans to have something to cheer - aside from that it was a pretty miserable weekend for Italians overall.

TT footage is just mindblowing. I think the same thing every time I watch road racing, but it really is. Astonishing!

I'm reading online (in places other than the bloody bbc site) that qualy tomorrow is on BBC2 not 1 as scheduled. If you set a PVR to record it like I do then be aware that it'll probably miss it and you will want to do it manually if you can.

Awesome, should finish just in time for teh footy too. I love Montreal, one of my favourite circuits. Overtakes possible too!

That was great qualifying yesterday. Thought the red bulls had it in the bag too then LH pulls out a quarter second gap from nowhere. He got so close to the walls on two occasions on that one lap too. Great stuff.

Webber had to change his gearbox so He'll start 7th.

Hamilton/McLaren only received a 10,000 space bucks fine for stopping on track due to low fuel.

Great stuff so far in the first 15 laps. The tyre situation is interesting.

Possibly the best race of the season. Don't know why Schumacher came back, nothing to gain. I'll be stunned if he's there next year.

Agree it was the most interesting and exciting race of the season and a great result.

I watched it on Freeview most it using red button in car camera option for the first time. They had a habit of switching to the wrong driver occasionally but being in Alonso's car watching Hamilton actually overtaking Weber in real time was a fantastic viewpoint to have.

Pirelli are the choice for 2011.

                          New rules/clarifications from today's F1 meeting.

                          2010,
No overtaking on the last lap if the pace car is deployed.
Drivers can't drive very slowly during Qually.
Cars have to be driven back to the pit if they have to give a fuel sample.

                          2011,
107% rule will come back with the caveat that practise times can be used in case it pisses down/big badda boom.
Car weights will rise to 640kg.
Adjustable rear wings by the driver. Only when peddling (and after the second lap), not when braking.
Ban on driver operated aero devices. (F-duct and variants).

They'll also be looking at a way to license team members so they can give them a meaningful slap on the wrist.

They listed the wrong time for teh Assen MotoGp race after last weeks race.

Correct time for the Race today is -

                            1240-1400, BBC Red Button/online.

Not looking forward to the race much tomorrow, I really dislike Valencia and the sooner it's gone from F1 the better.

But on the plus side the GP2 race did have some incidents, the first lap was pretty crazy:

Then this one later in the race which is pretty comical on one hand, but it could have been so much worse, particularly for the poor camera man:

OMG....how did Webber walk away from that!

The shot from the car as it left the ground was ridiculous!
