Wow, Loved it! i was on the edge of my seat the whole race.

    totally love the wet conditions.

Very disappointed for webber and vettel. Would of been Ace having both of them on podium together.

This is what Kovi deserved, that all important 2nd place. Great stuff!

Kubica and massa fight was cool.

luizzi getting a point dispite the disappointment of the vettel/webber incident.

    Sutil shame, 9th place.

Think we all saw this coming about 6 months ago!!

Ralf to leave Toyota at the end of the season.

Really enjoyed the race yesterday, except the Kubica penalty, what a stupid call, that was a racing incident through and through, especially in those conditions. Also, almost the exact same thing happens in every race, the reason given was that he caused a collision. Well, I'm sorry but he was racing for position and they crashed into each other. It happens every race in one way or another and people don't usually get drive throughs. Was it Vettel that hit Alonso a few laps apart from the Hamilton/Kubica crash? He didn't get a penalty, what a load of ****e!

Ralf is done with formula 1.

Toyota will get Alonso for sure. Then they'd have at least two top 10 runners then.

Best F1 race I've seen in a long time, watching those last few laps I was also on the edge of my seat knowing Hamilton could slip up and lose the first place as well. However that was a frankly amazing drive from him, you'd think he'd been racing for years with the control he had on the soaking wet surface.

Really felt sorry for Webber as I've always thought he seemed a nice guy that always seemed to be unlucky...never heard him sound that hacked off before.

Nando should do a one year deal with Toyota and then move to Italy for '09.

He has been racing for years, I know you meant in F1 specifically but all the lower classes he's just come through didn't have traction control or as much downforce as F1 so each and every race is more slippy. I'm sure he had a few wet races in the last year or so too.

Wont take away that it was a great drive though, he def deserves the title this year.

I hope Alonso sits it out in a Mclaren - With another winter testing under his belt, and setting his store up within the team can only make him a stronger force next season.

I think he's been on an up hill struggle all this season, and am surprised hes kept it as close as he has - I also think Hamilton has insitgated a lot of the problems between the pair of them.

As for Ralph, it wasn't really a surprise, but it is fair to say that Toyota are huge underachievers - They pay well though, and Alonso might fancy hooking back up with Trulli once more. We could even see Ralph making the trip in the opposite direction.

Regards the race, it was a good drive from Hamilton, but he is Schumacher like in some of his track placement. He was clearly cutting in onto the apex when Kubica touched him - That penalty for Kubica was very harsh.

Although the penalty was harsh for Kubica, I think you would clearly say that in the conditions there was nothing Hamilton could have done to avoid it. Of course he is going to cut onto the apex, thats the racing line. As many of the drivers said, they could not see anything in their mirrors, so unless a car is actually alongside you coming into a corner you are not going to know that it is there. Kubica came from a pretty long way back, so it is no wonder Hamilton had no idea he would be there when he turned in.

I see Vettel got reprimanded for the Webber incident too, and will now drop ten places on the grid for the next race. These penalties are starting to get ridiculous now; F1 is becoming a no-contact motorsport.

You dont cut into an apex when you have already missed it, because when racing closely with a competitor there is a good chance they will already have the right line into the corner and you'll be choping across him.

If you watch the replay you'll see Kubica taking the correct line and Hamilton chopping back into the middle of the apex. I am not sure whether it was a mistake by Hamilton or just an odd line he was using because of the weather - One thing that is sure, is that Kubica was not in the wrong place.

R Schumacher apparently might go back with old team Williams!

Oh dear, could be a problem for Hamilton! I'd be surprised if F1 the company let anything as 'trivial' as that get in the way of wonder boy getting the title though

Possible I suppose, though expect if found guilty any penalty would see him moved down the grid for China rather than losing his points.
