Just started toning up started just overa week ago, i didnt consider myself overweight just would rather tone up a bit and get a six pack also. Ive got the exersize plan perfect for me i feel, i go for a 4-5 mile run every single evening about 9-10 at night then do 10 minutes of polarties and crunchs for my abs. I feel i need a diet plan but dont know what to eat, i dont mind how much/ little i eat as i dont suffer from hunger very much. If someone could recomend a good plan daily/weekly whatever or some good meals all help would be much appriciated, im 17 also if that helps cheers guys

Go back a few pages mate, lots of diet advice there 8)

BTW only do abs 2 to 3 times a week max. Abs are like every other muscle and need time to recuperate. 3 times is MAX. They'll get bigger and stronger with rest.

              Mars Bar?

I went out last night and had a cheeky Thai Meal with me girlfriend instead of going to the Gym Now I have to go tonight and tomorrow night to make up for it. Oh the guilt >_<

Yes mate you need to give your muscles time to grow and recuperate. You tend to hear a lot of **** about abs - someone once argued with me that as they were the only "elastic muscle" in the body you could exercise them every day! - but they're the same as every other muscle. Work nice and slow when doing crunches, is quality not quantity (you can make 10 crunches feel like a hundred) and get plenty of rest.

No idea on pilates, obviously not my thing 8)

Well ill give that ago then ill only workout everyother day when i get back from my run, and ive only just started Pilates i used to laugh at my ex when she used to do them she looked so funny doing then. But one day when she showed me how to do them **** me doing that for 5 minutes gave me a better workout than doing 30minutes gym workout and you can do them in your own home.

Think I'm getting things dialed in. BIG improvement today. 2 weeks ago I done about half a rep on 37kg dumbbell shoulder presses; last week done 3*32kg. Gave the 37kg another go today, done FIVE strong reps

Also seeing some improvement in barbell curls, added a couple of reps to hit 6*45kg.

Workouts are more focused. Got to watch the waist, but 3000 cals is certainly helping

anyone wanting a website that gives you exercises and a description on what muscle group there using.

good thing about this site is you can click on a muscle group and it will then show you the exercise to perform, most are suitable for the home gym, ie exercises using your own body weight, a smallish bench, dumbell and barbell and a step

Our comprehensive exercise video library guide has exercise guides for arms, chest and back. So personal training programmes will never be the same!

                                hope others find it usefull
