Hey Bangaio, you still looking at grabbing an M8 at some point or have all the launch problems put you off?

Thanks for the comments guys. I have made a B&W version but I am not sure which I prefer. You can see it on my flickr page.

I am really getting into photography now as for me it's just a total stress reliever. I never imagined it could be so rewarding and so much FUN! I also enjoy the comments from my friends like 'Oh it must be hard to control an expensive DSLR' or ' Have you taken lessons?' Not really, just look through the viewfinder and press that shutter!

My problem is lack of opportunity as my town is not exactly the most beautiful place in Japan. I say that in the sense that it's a very nice place to live, sooo middle class but like most towns here, it's just covered in concrete with electricity and phonelines all over the place! Hokkaido seems like a good bet but it's just too damn cold in the winter.

Been off work these last couple of days so pissing about.

What do you think of these? Like something you'd see in a magazine or just some rubbish?

It's so hard to set up a tripod in the back of a small coupe

Obviously not near the standard of photo's you guys are taking but I took this the other day for uni, it was actually two seperate portrait photos around the same area, one of the bridge and one of the pylon but I wanted a nice landscape of the whole area so I stitched them together best I could and attempted to match the overall colour values. Worked out quite well for what I was wanting.

                      Alastair,

The first one looks like it's straight out of the pages of Autocar!. Super stuff.

                      Rossco,

Nice shot. Rather moody, so me likey. Do you have a www.flickr.com account?

The grass is always greener, (especially if you Photoshop it!)

Just found this "thing" crawling up my wall above my desk. What the hell is it? I found 2 more already up as far as they can go and have now spotted bunch more hanging from the ceiling. Will they be moths? The chrysalis thingy is about 6mm long.

                          my rather limited stream

Worst site in the world or something wrong with my flash here at work? Will try to check it out from home later on.

Managed to see 2 shots and both were good though.
