Hey, congratulations Alastair - well deserved mate.

It looks like you are really starting to kick off your photography work now, even if you have done it for quite some time. I'm very happy for you mate!

If you get a chance before I get my free copies, hit a newsagent and browse the latest issue of Hip-Hop Connection magazine. The cover looks like this.

Turn to page 104 and see my 15 minutes of fame! Name in print and everything!

I'll get a scan or shot of it up as soon as I can after I get my freebies.

Nice one dude, you are indeed the shizzle (or whatever the kids are saying these days). Kings to you

Woo, well done! You're a pro now, which means you have an excuse to get a 1DS Mk 2 and a full set of L lenses. Totally justified.

You mean a mk3 surely, only the best from now on!

If there was any hint of an ongoing thing at the moment I'd be investing for sure (maybe not in a 1d though), as it is I'm stuck with the 300D At least I have one L.

Am I the only one not to alter their images? Just I barely have time to take pics yet alone alter them. Just seen some nice pics recently that make me think it may be worth the time.

Great shots Spagoli. Love the tap and water drop. Love it

I usually do a bit of post processing. Tweakiing colour levels and cropping. For black and white photos I tend to go a bit more extreme I have to admit.

Few more from me. I should have been cleaning my tent but working on my photos is just irrestistible!

My post-process is normally limited on my pics too - I like the colours that come out of the Nikon, so it's normally limited to tweaking contrast, cropping and the odd bit of sharpening, depending on the pic.

If you don't find it necessary Spagoli, then I wouldn't worry about it - there's certainly nothing wrong with the pics you've posted up there - the depth on the tap pic is great.

                            Love the tap shot.

PP wise I tend to fiddle with the RAW setting that CS2 allows me, brightness, shadows, exposure and contrast. After that I try to leave it pretty much as is but do sometimes mess about. I've been known to play with multi exposure layer masks too to allow the sky to be dark and the subject to be light etc. I also, re-size and sharpen (most shots) before uploading.

At photo class we had to walk the streets and take pictures of strangers, I didn't enjoy it but here are 3.

                              My classmate:

                              A random nice guy:

A random couple whom when I said I was doing a photo course made the joke they were doing a modelling course

All 3 of those were taken with the 50mm 1.8.

                              I like the flags Ish.
