I've got the standard 18-55mm kit lens but I rarely use that.
My most used lens is the 105mm Nikon macro lens. Which I use (obviously!) for all my macro shots but also use for a lot of my nature shots like the lemurs and various birds I've shot. Its a really high quality lens and incredibly versatile.
Other than that I use a Nikon 70-300mm lens sometimes. It was cheap and is reasonably sharp in the 100-200mm range but tails off badly towards 300mm.
And I recently bought the Nikon 55mm-200mm AFS VR lens. Which I've used for some of the recent shots I've posted. I'm really impressed with this lens as its sharp as a pin throughout its focal range and the vibration reduction I've found to be really effective. The auto focus is also very quick and quiet.

Yeah when I upgraded to the D80 I very nearly bought a D200 as there's not much in them pricewise. But given they share the same image sensor and I'm still really a beginner I decided to save the cash for other camera bits and bobs. The D200 or its equivelant will be there for me in a year or twos time
Based on the D80 to date I can really recommend it (and I suppose a D200 by virtue of them sharing the same sensor). I've found its image quality to be obscenely good. I've had my ladybird shot and hoverfly shots from a page or two back blown up to 18"x12" and it just looks amazing.

Nice bird GT, shame you missed the tip of the tail but a far better shot than I've ever managed.
Marty, I like that flower too, very artistic shot.
I grabbed the tele lens and jumped on the bike for a quick blast to Goodwood on Sat, was only there an hour, here's the best of what I've processed so far:
Through the fence on this one:
Trying to make it look a little racy rather than just cars on track.
That'll do for now (bet you're all bored silly of car shots from me anyway). You'll have to go through to Flickr for the shutter speeds if you want them, too busy to list em all today, sorry.
