Thanks Spags - although I'm now a bit disappointed that the best shot is the one that I took with my little point & shoot rather than the rest with my DSLR

Is that Chelmsford V you're talking about? If so, I'm trying to figure out whereabouts you are (not stalking, honest !!) Southend ? Burnham ? If so, you're near to me.

Like the Members Only shot best, but they're all good stuff.

Leigh-On-Sea, a bit up from Southend. Where you based Garf?

Yep, I know Leigh - had a meal there a few months back in the Boatyard.

I'm in Wickford, about 10-12 miles from you.

I know it well, used to live in South Woodham so spent many an hour waiting for a connecting train there Not been to the Swan for an age, the rock night used to be awesome!

Thank you. I did discover some beautiful places in North Devon last week. So much so that we are going back next year ! Really pleased with that particular photo, although the story behind it is tragic - the statue is a memorial to a young Russian girl called Ekatarine, who fell to her death from the cliffs nearby in 2000 - very sad.

Ah, the South Woodham branch line I actually live right on the edge of Wickford, almost in Shotgate, but know the Swan, as I walk past it every day on the way to the station.

Leigh is very nice by the way - my wife and I are big fans of the blueberry pancakes and the porridge in the Stop The World cafe !!

Good stuff, although I don't think much of the campsite gym

I agree with Ish those bottom two are superb Herb.

Really like your first two Garf, a sad story indeed...

Spag the one with the bloke in is brilliant.

A few more from me, rained most of the day here so again went happy snappy around the house. There's a family of humming birds around my g/f house, I would love to have the set up to catch them in flight...something to look forward to I guess

Love the way you've framed the first one Tommy. Also like the colours in the second.

The third one is pretty damn awesome too - your holiday album needs its own gallery >_<

One from my Girlfriend taken in our back garden!!

These aren't that well cropped or focused but came across them from family pictures in Spain. I really like the first one as its a graveyard in my nans village in Spain shame it isn't focused better.
