Thanks - I went out today looking for shots that were on an 'urban' theme for a monthly competition - not sure what I got was strictly urban, but liked a few of them anyway.

Might need to find somewhere a bit more gritty...

Liking Paris there Spag and the urban shots garf.

I didn't realise my 17mm lens was quite so distorting. The doorway is framed square but the bricks and curb have gone all bendy!



And the Hip Hop festival has started again, first up an art instillation.

I was in there on my own on Sat morning, could have lifted whatever I could have fit in my bag! Luckily, I'm super honest and respectable

I'm learning a lot about flash at the moment. Both of these graf sculpture ones were taken in a well lit gallery with no need for flash at all but with a bit of playing around I think I've managed a much more interesting lighting set up and created a lot more interest You may disagree

Completely, if you could have pulled in that shadow a bit tighter and used some coloured plastic over the flash it would be fantastic!

I don't have any 'gels' for the flash, I do have a tracing paper 'diffuser' though, ghetto!

LOL! I've seen a few people light painting over some wall graf, would be cool to see what could be done to that installation (sneak in there tonight with your tracing paper and some felt pens >_<).
