Difficult one, I tend to shoot and do a quick look. Delete any real cack and maybe review it at a later date. Also helps if you have a large capacity hdd though. I know a few photographers who are into terabytes of external drives as they don't delete!

I feel I may end up that way

Currently have a 800mb Raid 1 external drive (400mb mirrored) for my storage. This I backup to a spare external hdd I have. I little belt and braces approach, but I don't want to loose anything.

I think you probably mean GB

I don't delete anything and I just archive my pics to DVD-R when I've got enough stuff to fill one. There's really not a lot of point in keeping duff shots I suppose, but sometimes I'll go through older stuff and decide with a bit of post processing I might be able to do something with the odd shot.

No wonder it was so cheap

        Yep, GB!

I like the lighting in the first pic ET - be careful with your framing, the gate handle one I think would have worked better with the whole of it in the frame, again the lighting is nice in it, gives and almost B&W feel to it.

Took this this morning, I've de-saturated it a little bit to give it a more dramatic and artsy look, pity about the stray twig, might go snip that and try again:

And yay - Rocket Boots for the win!

And a stained glass window from a Church close to where I live. I think the Nikon picked up the colours wonderfully.

Broken 5000 views on my flickr account now - taken over a year mind, though I don't really pimp them to thousands of groups at a time.

ET - I like the first one. It has an almost unreal quality about it. Nice one.

Marty - love the rocket boots!

              Marty,

Can't you clone out the twig in PS? Yes, rocket boots for the win!

You should enter that in some pic of the week compo.

I could probably clone it out with a bit of work, might try that later.

Went for a walk in Barnwell Country Park this morning, really nice in the sun it was ... spotted this on my drive there, and thought that colours were great in it.

And this nice swan pic from the park

Great parrot shot, the background works really well with it.

Thanks, mate. Do you reckon it's over saturated? Love the Union Jack btw.

                        Nah - I like saturated colour - it's fine.

And it's a Union Flag!! It's only a Jack if it's tied to a boat

Went for a wallk round one of the local country parks today. Really struggled to take shots I was happy with today. Just wasn't working.

Best one was this one I think. There's one landscape I took that I like but I've overblown the sky. Damn damn damn.

                                And another:
