Program on C4 now, "638 ways to kill Castro", seems quite interesting.
22:00 638 Ways to Kill Castro
There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but how many ways are there to bump off a political enemy? Apparently not enough to bring down revolutionary Cuban leader Fidel Castro. This is a story of smoking guns and smoking cigars: a remarkable 50-year-long detective thriller, and the man who always got away.

The longest palindromic word in the Oxford English Dictionary is tattarrattat, coined by James Joyce in Ulysses for a knock on the door. The Guinness Book of Records gives detartrated, the past tense of detartrate, a somewhat contrived chemical term meaning to remove tartrates. Rotavator, a trademarked name for an agricultural machine, is often listed in dictionaries.

Lovely.
Rant time.
Last week one of my parent dogs was diagnosed as diabetic, needs injecting with Inulin twice a day, no problem, except the cost of the Insulin.
Parents were told to buy the Insulin in "a weeks worth" bottle; costs ?55 a week.
So ?220 a month, plus dog also needs heart medication, ?110 a month and special dietry food ?50 a month. Kerching, ?380 a month (they don't have insurance for the dog)
To cut a long story short, Mum told vet they couldn't afford that each month, he checks his suppliers catalogue and agrees to let them have a bottle containing a months worth of Insulin at cost, ?27 !!!! (ongoing deal),
So price has gone from ?220 down to ?27 a month on Insulin - how's that for a profit margin.
/rant over

I was about to go into a rant that the NHS shouldn't be allowed to get away with charging, then I came to my senses and realised it was vet not Dr!!
A lot of industries have humongous mark ups like that mate, gotta live with it I'm afraid.
My sister used to manage a hotel/restaurant and the mark ups on their goods (especially wine) were astonishing. Things like ?10 bottles of wine costing them 2 quid!
Spag, that's harsh..
..but funny
