Aah, it's all about the newest one, mate! I give to you the Chevrolet Corvette Z06:



7-litre (!!) V8 engine, and unlike previous 'Vettes, it even goes round corners!. Though the Americans' insistence that it beats the arse of all European cars isn't exactly accurate. Still though: what a car!!

Actually being able to afford a car I want is probably the most important factor when deciding which one to purchase though, lol.

Probably uses 10 times less petrol though One of my mates drives an early-2000s Corvette and I'm forever ripping the piss out of the fact he has a sports car made out of plastic.

Tell you what, though, you get to find out how much of a rip-off the UK is living here. Saw today in a reputable local dealer: Audi TT cabriolet (nudging 230 horsepower), good nick, used price: about £6500. That's got to be less than half the price the equivalent car would go for in Blighty.
