Fact for the day (from the Metro):

From 1970 to 1983 Playboy Magazine (USA version) was printed in Braille each month, at a cost of $103,000 a year - this was paid for by the US Government. They withdrew the funding in 1983 and the Braille edition was canned.

A shame, as most people buying the Braille version could legitimately say they were only buying it for the articles.

I have just been turned down for alcohol at my local Sainsburys. I am 32 and the girl serving me looked about 12. She then got her managerm who looked about 15, who said "It's nothing personal". I said of course it is! You're personally turning me down because you don't think I look old enough. I had on me three credit cards and a membership to a Casino.
I was only buying a lemon and a bottle of red wine!

Yeah, it's good stuff! I'm 28 and a couple of weeks ago a girl in a shop thought I was 17!! I hope to keep up that ratio of young looks vs age for as long as possible

Im 26 and got ejected from a pub/club recently, went asked for a pint at the bar guy said im not serving you without ID i was like WTF your bloody kidding? Your doorman let me in!
Also got a message today that someone in work left a message with a really young sounding scottish lad

Saw that earlier, didn't say if it's concurrent or consecutive, feel it's a little harsh if it's 3 straight years. It's only money at the end of the day and they let off all the druggie/drunk celebs that do things like crash their motors. [ali g]Is it cos he is black?[/ali g]
