Closed the browser... Re-opened it... Re-visited the Abbey website, and all the messages about it not being a compatible browser went away. Quality coding.

Why can I only upload to Youtube at 37KB/s on my Virgin line that is capable of about 90KB/s. Surely Youtube can handle faster than that? It's always this speed which is annoying as hell! Anyone know?

Macs, eh? I don't have anything against them really, but I'd just prefer to use a PC due to familiarity.

Where I work though, Mac users are a pain. Certain departments keep buying Macs and try to get us to support them even though they know full well that we don't!

We've just had the police round. I'd just driven home from the pub and there was a policewoman at my door. I'd only had J2Os so that was cool.

Anyway, there have been a load of attempted distraction burglaries on my road. After she had been round the C.I.D came round, the female was quite tasty They've proper put the ****s up my wife, you'd swear there had been a murder given the number of police on the estate.

What do you mean distraction burglaries mate?

I'm just in, left at 8am this morning for last day of uni for the semester, had a presentation to do, such a good feeling to get it done. Then went for a wee christmas lunch with uni guys, and back to the union to play some pool and Wii!

Now off to bed, back at work tomorrow after 2 weeks off. Gutted!

Distraction burglaries - someone calls the owner to the front door to sell some crap, someone else tries to go in through the back.

I took yesterday off work to wait for a delivery that was due to arrive between "07:00 and 19:30" that never turned up. Bastards, seriously. I had to play games all day in the warm, gits.

The prints we make for our 'daily use' not only use paper, but also ink. According to SPRANQ creative communications (Utrecht, The Netherlands) your ink cartridges could last longer. SPRANQ has therefore developed a new font: the Ecofont.

"After Dutch holey cheese, there now is a Dutch font with holes as well."
Appealing ideas are often simple: how much of a letter can be removed while maintaining readability? After extensive testing with all kinds of shapes, the best results were achieved using small circles. After lots of late hours (and coffee) this resulted in a font that uses up to 20% less ink. Free to download, free to use.

A very good idea if you're going to be printing out a lot of stuff in draft.
