Anyone know anything about UCAS personal statements? I'm really struggling and tips would help! I've written what I think is a really good statement, unfortunately it's not "conventional" enough apparently, and so my tutor at college and another teacher there have advised that I take what I have now, and condense the whole thing into a paragraph. It's really difficult to do that when you like what you've and and have already tried to write a conventional statement, which made you sound like the dullest, most pointless guy on the planet. Gah.

Hi,

I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to test a Nokia N95 8GB N-Gage phone through a company called Wom World who organise Nokia phone trials. In return for the phone (a temporary acquisition - I sadly don't get to keep it! ), they've asked for me to blog my findings and thoughts with regards to the phone and it's N-Gage games.

Bloody NeoGAF! I've been a member there since March and wasn't verified so haven't been able to post, and now they've just deleted their entire moderation queue so I'm back to square one!
