So how's your quest going on getting replacement batteries from "Encore"?!

I'm sure this well known and established company will have offices with customer services all over the world

Two kids were arrested last week: One had eaten a battery and the other, a firework.

In short (not an intentional electrical related pun) I haven't had any success. As skanky a make as those batteries were, they weren't that cheap, but I got in touch with Energizer with a “look what your product did!” type email. Looks like they don't want to know by the looks of things (they haven't even bothered to reply).

I'm thinking my best bet would be to take it back to that fine purveyor of everything (Argos) and get them to refund it.

I tried using Encorergiser before, but the the extra loooong company name meant the batteries no longer fit in any devices!

Excellent Broken Britain thing in The Sun today, about some guy who has eight children with eight women (girls). Naturally we're paying for them, he's all "lol," etc, etc, pitchforks at ready.

The thing is, though, they've got pictures of five of these women and they could almost be sisters, they're near identical. He appears to have a very specific "type." Fat, ugly chavs.

You say that, but I can picture some portly, track-suited chavette shouting "Oi! Kia... come 'ere!" in the middle of a busy supermarket after said child has started misbehaving.

Any other guys here had their girl start talking about baby names? I thought that happened once they're pregnant?

She is great fun and adventurous and our relationship is and has been unpredictable but being a man I'm a little slow on the uptake when it comes to women saying one thing and actually meaning the opposite; so I suppose I'll wait and see if anything comes of it.

Its past 1am, just needed to put my thoughts somewhere, minds racing a bit. Who knows
