Yay for manual work!
Although, at the risk of having whatever remaining shred of manliness I've managed to cling on to over the years washed away like last nights bath water, I have the biggest hand blister right now.

I think the thing that really put me off was the price but, having slogged my guts out and not gotten very far, I don't think you can actually put a price on how much easier it would be to have one. It's probably not worth it for this year now, but next year I'm going to seriously consider it.

MAN PLAN
TBH the manual ones are easier to use, set the speeds rather than the gears, good for variable terrain and racing.
