God, I am so bored. I am having to write my class reports this week and it is taking forever. I wish I was like the other teachers in my school, they did theirs ages ago. Every year i say to myself I will be more organised and then every year I leave it all until the last possible second and the headteacher is breathing down my neck to get them finished.

Had an uncomfortable journey home on the train this evening. There i am, 36 years old, haggard, tierd and possibly slightly disheveled? Needless to say i wasnt looking teh best. Just as the trains about to leave a long haired blonde goddess appears and proceeds to sit down right in front of me..*sigh* must have been, 19?? Pretended not to be stareing at her all the way home.

Think there is something in the new law about not smoking directly outside doors due to passive smoke etc.

Nah, there's definitely nothing in law.

They might be doing it because they're afraid that some areas of the outside might come under the definition of `enclosed or substantially enclosed` (like in doorways or areas that aren't more than 50% open etc). They might be avoiding that potential minefield by just ordering people as far away as possible.

There is the idea that smoke could drift back in to a premises that's required to be smoke free premises if it's being done right outside (but again there's nothing much in the law about that yet).
