Just got in from work and noticed I have received a rather vague letter from Virgin Media (dated on my birthday, no less) telling me I've been paying less than I should for my Broadband (even though I specifically signed a contract with the stated amount), that they have amended the error and will no be charging me more. They also informed me that because it was apparently their error, they won't be charging me extra in my "next bill", which is odd, because I'm meant to be paying by direct debit (as shown on my statements).

No figures were quoted on the letter.

Did you upgrade your service online perhaps? I went from 2mb to 4mb by using their online service but my bill didn't change. I queried this with them and they acknowledged that the service had been upgraded but not the cost.

I saw a dead badger this morning on the way to work. I didn't even know there were any badgers up in this bitch (i.e. on the outskirts of town centre in Saaarfhaaampton). Seeing shocked me but also made me laugh because I remembered kernow posting ages ago about the bloke out of Bodger & Badger who would "literally take anything he could get his hands on".

Didn't upgrade a thing. And even if I did, the very least they could've done was be specific about costs.

Anyway, I called them and they said it was an admin error and that I should just ignore the letter.
