Excellent thanks guys. Totally forgot about Space Invaders, been hearing good things about that that one.

Yeah Infinity Gene is definitely in my top 3, fantastic game. As for apps I've not got that many really, just

      ebay,
      Photobucket
      Eurosport
      Wikipedia
      Genius & Snapture (Camera Apps)
      8Bitone (8-bit sequencer)
      Sky News

I've also bought something called Japanese which is a Japanese electronic dictionary which has come in handy for import gaming, it's £11.99 but when you consider a real electronic dictionary can set you back £200+ then it's a bargain.

Best games in my opinion are:
Drop 7 - the best tetris clone in years. Isn't as instantly playable as some (concept takes a few goes to get) but it's painfully addictive. Free version is available. Essential and in my opinion the best game available.

InfinityGene - great shooter with very cool presentation. Quite difficult as your finger gets in the way of the action but it's one of the slickest games on the platform.

FlightControl - probably the best and most simple use of touch on the format, extremely easy to get into but gets extremely difficult. You get a top-down perspective of a few runways and have to control the flight path of all incoming aircraft without causing any crashes. Very enjoyable, also supports two player.

MX Mayhem - If you like TrialsHD on the 360 then this is as close as you can get on the phone. A recent free update gives you more tracks to play.

GeoDefence Swarm - In my opinion the best Tower Defence game on the machine. Pulls of the Geo Wars look and feel but makes it it's own with a very finally balanced mechanic. Extremely difficult though.

Realracing - If you want something that will show off your new shiney phone then get this. A free one-track demo is available (RealRacing GTI). I haven't moved onto the full version but it's pretty impressive.

There are a number of games out there that use 'virtual joysticks', ie put the pad\key controls on the screen. I'd avoid these as every one I've played is horrible.

I really wanted to like RealRacing and got the demo but find I am total ****e at it!

Can't keep the car on track.

I'm really enjoying Nick Chase detective at the moment. Only 60p as well. Prob the only iPhone game I've been compelled to play again after stopping the first. Nice little story and the puzzles are actually fairly good too.

I'm looking for a good radio app that doesn't require 3.0 firmware and came across Internet radio box which seems pretty good from the reviews and features (built in web browser!). I just wondered if anyone here had any recommendations for a radio app?

I use WunderRadio but couldn't tell you if it requires 3.0 or not. I tried a few radio apps and this seemed to be the best - pants that you can't have it playing in the background though...

Can I pimp my mates app that just got put onto the appstore? It's i-Spy and it's for premier league football teams... you get points for spotting t-shirts, or car hangers (or whatever they're called!)

Sorry for the double post, but just saw this... I use Internet Radio Box too. I did used to use VisuaRadio but it was terribly unstable. Internet Radio Box is fantastic though imho, and covers loads of radio stations, including all the BBC ones. Highly recommended.

Doom is up on the store now - controls surprisingly well (it has 4 configurations). Forgot how much I love this game

Yesterday I bought Ninja Honda Karate, great Rhythm Action game with 8-bit style tunes, also has extra tracks to download and an online leaderboard.
