iOS recommended games and applications

Finding "Words with Friends" has made me intriuged as to the "online gaming" side of the iPhone, so I've been looking around and found a game called "Quick Draw" (it has a lite) version.

It's pictionary, but online and kinda fun. Not sure if there's an easier way to arrange games in the full version but the lite version has "rooms" (lobbies) that you go into, and a 10 round game ensues.

It's actually pretty fun! Don't think I'll upgrade from lite to full though with this one.

I've been a bit addicted to Geared today, inbetween Words With Friends. It starts out hideously simply, but it's getting much more difficult now.

You basically have some gears, and you have to join a yellow spinning cog to blue ones to make them spin to solve the level.

What are people's thoughts on the new app store page layouts? I like it - if viewed on a monitor, from the iphone the big screenshots fook things up totally, scroll scroll scroll.

Been playing Hoggy, which is fantastic. Also just played the first couple of missions of Driver, seems like a great port so far, controls well and seems a bit more forgiving than the original, not looking forward to playing the final mission though unless thats been tweaked.

Yeh I saw the Ridge Racer post yesterday, looks interesting... provided it controls well, Im hopeful given racers have generally been done well on the device this far...

N.O.V.A. from Gameloft is out tomorrow with full online multiplayer over Wifi. This is the much touted Halo-clone. Im interested though if only because reports so far says it has the best FPS controls yet.
