Sat in bed all morning with headphones on savouring that chiptune goodness still hooked on this, the fact that you can start another attempt in less than a second means that you just keep going & going. The thing that impresses me most is the apparent simplicity of it, the graphics look really simple but it's very clever how it's been put together so many patterns & each one has a set way to deal with it. Kind of reminds me of bulllet hell shooters, you start to space out & look for the gaps to move into instead of concentrating of the walls.

Still getting my ass kicked on all difficultys but so far i can manage
    Hard 29:06
    Harder 29:31
    Hardest 11:01

Lol im well pleased with that last one, even lasting 5 seconds is pretty hard. Im terrified to think what the other 2 locked difficultys are like

Turns out difficulty 4 is about as hard and fast as 3 ... at least, it is for the first 5 seconds. I can't tell you beyond that.

Why is no one playing Zoo Keeper Battle - it is FREE.

Extinction Squad is now free, Kingdom Rush HD is down to 69p.

Square Enix have released a card battling game called Guardian Cross, which looks very nice. It's a freemium game, so no excuse to at least give it a whirl.

anyone tried wonderputt? Its simply captivating, a very surreal version of mini golf I love the art style a lot. Just seeing how the next hole would appear just kept me playing. after completion you can go back and try again with an extra rainbow mode, people seem to bitch about the length but for 69p I think it's awesome. These are the games I love to stumble across, shame that finding these wonderful games is so hard in a sea of ****e.

Yeah. I just got it a couple of days ago. It's an utter delight. Have you tried Windosill?

Rayman is up, ?1.99. Only played a few levels quickly but seems like a nice complement to Origins. First few levels you can only jump, 100 Lums (is that what they're called?) to collect on each stage. Seems like you can also choose wall running, flying and punching based levels when you unlock them.

Gonna finish Origins before playing much more than this. Looks wonderful on the new iPad!

Ok tried and finished windowsill loved every second, sad that its so short though id love more like that it was so fun just figuring it all out. found another great game called incoboto, a platform puzzler about a boy who finds a sun and goes on an adventure trying to figure out what happened and where everyone went. Has a weird depressing vibe to it and lovely graphics, enjoying it a lot so far.

Yeah, I felt the same. It's one of those games that I've put in front of non-gamers and watched them get lost in delight with it. Will check out Incoboto at some stage.

Discovered one called the room, absolutely amazing puzzle game. You havevto solve the mystery of howto get inside a locked puzzle box it uses all the functions on ipad the puzzles are really clever. A really polished highquality game.

Ahh I had come in to put a quote about Super Hexagon and noticed Wonderputt being mentioned, it was shown at IGF 2012 earlier in the year. My curiosity got the better of me also I like to try most of the IGF stuff if I can, was really impressed by it. Literally had no idea it came out on iPhone.
PC Version is free to try here if anyone is interested, more than likely ideal for iOS and touch screen.
Adventure golf... but with cows, toads, ski slopes, torpedos and a sprinkle of alien abduction for good measure.

Anyways about Super Hexagon, dev said this on his blog about it.

So, er, wow. So much has happened that I don’t really know where to start, but here goes.

Super Hexagon has been an absolutely huge success – both critically and commercially.

First, there’s critically: the reviews have been unbelievable! The game got a 9/10 from EDGE, and a 10/10 from Destructoid. I have a huge amount of respect for both of them, so getting scores like that is pretty mindblowing.

Secondly, commercially; the game has sold extremely well. It looks like the first week’s sales have come in at just over 30,000. This is way, way beyond what I expected!

I think the best thing of all, though, has been the amazing response the game has been getting from players. People really get what the game is about – something to obsess over, to master. I couldn’t be happier about this.

As a result of all this, I’ve decided to extend the launch sale. It just seemed like a shame to raise the price while so many people are still discovering the game! I’m going to leave the price at 66% off until things slow down a bit.

                                Thank you for playing, everyone!
So the price was due to be put up to ?1.99 but is staying at 69p.
