And so it begins.
After over 4 years I finally decided on a new piece have just had my first 3hr sitting getting line work started for what will eventually be a full wrap around for my lower leg.
So without further ado this is what was started today...
I'm so so so chuffed with it, looks amazing in person.
I wont lie though & a good portion of it was excrutiantingly painful...especially around the bottom of the autobot logo on my super bony ankle & primes left arm around the calf muscle
Still it was well worth all the pain.
More to come in just over a months time

Blimey doesn't feel like 2 months ago since the last post on here.
But after a lengthy wait I was back in the artists chair today to face the needle & some serious PAIN!!!! honestly at points this was mental but I'm SO pleased with the finished result.
So without further ado here was what was accomplished in 3 hours today...
I'm so pleased with it.
We are forming lans for the gap at the moment & that will be sorted when I go back for colour plus we are talking about the future & possibly taking the theme further
I'm off now to nurse it a little as it's stinging like buggery at the mo so more Savlon is the order of the day me thinks

My artist is called Anthony Cole & is based in a shop in Benfleet near me called Exile Tattoo.
He's doing really well for someone who has only been doing it for about 3 years!!!
No website I'm afraid by they are on Facebook...
I don't do Facebook so can't view it myself but the missus does & says it shows all the work by the 2 Artists (Anthony & Will) there is some work on there by another guy called Aaron but he's the shop apprentice.
They are all really good guys & if you local then I can't recommend them enough cheaper than most at ?65 an hour as well...my previous artist at Silver Needles in Southend have just upped their prices to ?80 an hour & was one of the reasons I looked elsewhere & I'm SO glad I did
Thanks again buddy.

Just keep the updates coming, I really want to get started on something new soon myself, and you posting is just making it worse!
I should really get with the times but I'm so boring that I just wouldn't use it so pretty pointless lol
Sorry buddylol
You know you should get something done
I'll post updates as they happen but there will be a BIG gap now
Got the baby due anytime now & Anthony is fully booked up till July so having to fit in where I can now but will get something posted as soon as I can.

Well, it's all your fault Neil, on my return from my holidays in America i'm booked in for the chair. It's taken a while to find a new artist after my usual guy left, but i'm excited by the new one i've found, as we love all the same stuff and we're both excited about the tattoo. I've been planning this full back piece for years, it's going to be great to finally see it come together!

Any clues to what you are getting done or do we get to wait & see
Still booked in for August for the colour on mine.
Tempted to plan something else for later in the year now as well...been chatting with my brother who is itching to get something done & that always gets me thinking what I should have done instead of some of the tribal I have

Il try and find the photo of my bike tattoo I got done at some stage.
Its in memorandum of my 90 year old gran when she passed away. Up until she was 85 she rode a bike just like it everywhere, as she lived in the sticks in a village which consisted of 18 houses and 1 pub. Everyone knew for wobbling between the villages with at least 3 bags of veg shed grown herself to give to her friends.
