Tattoo Thread.

So today was the day after a 2 month wait the colour has begun




Not quite as uncomfortable as previous sessions but by god did it bleed at the end
Not much done really but it was a good 3 hours we spent a lot of time just getting shading done to give some depth to areas & give a base for the colour to go over so that took up the bulk of the time.

Booked in for a session in September now which should hopefully finish Prime but that does mean I've got another 6hrs to do Soundwave...this is getting EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!

Still it's all worth it

You're welcome...your artist did a sterling job on that, a real credit to him...getting that Joker down isn't easy, you picked one of the craziest pics for him ever

I'm currently 9hrs in.
I didn't do a 6hr...no way I could have handled that either...it's bad enough in 3hr blocks lol

So far it's been a 3hr session for each of the line work & then 3hrs doing th shading & colour on Prime.

I didn't quite realise how long it would all take...just assumed the colour would go straight on, didn't understand all the prepwork that's required to get base for the colour to go on to.

Really looking forward to the next session in September now which should hopefully finish Prime off.

Oh ok, misreead, I had mine done in around 2hour blocks, and like you didnt realise how long it would take. BEt you can't wait to get it finished, I was so hyper for my last session....

Apart from now I want the rest of my arm done to make it into a full sleeve :-)

That joker tattoo is great. When I was scrolling down and saw the first bat sign tattoo I was thinking "oh no, what am I going to say about this.............."

Oh, and six hour sessions are easy peasy you big girls! (I've only ever done it twice though!)

That would be sweet but yeah I know what you mean...Harley has always been a bit of a cartoony character so serious pics are VERY few & far between.

Lol they'll shave you when you get them done & the just keep shaving the area when it's healed.
I'm considering doing that with my leg...not sure how good hairy robots will look lol

That's a lovely piece as well, stunning work, love the details on the clouds & wings looks fantastic
