Me too. Both fighters, and the UFC, would make a lot of money from this fight. I'm sure it'll happen.

Regarding their rivalry - on TUF they seem more like brothers or good friends who constantly bicker (as opposed to Hughes and Serra, say, who obviously really disliked each other), but both of them say there's genuine animosity between them. What do you think?

I think I've missed something. Aren't they fighting after the Ultimate Fighter?

Tonight I should be able to see TUF, can't wait to see Kimbo. Has he improved?

They were supposed to fight after UF10 (in Dec) yes, but it's been called off.

Guess Jackson is too busy making money starring as BA in the new A-Team movie.

Kimbo - I've seen his fight, won't say anything else until you've seen it.

Watched the latest ep last night so I've seen Kimbo's fight.

He looked slightly better than ever but his defence is still crappy. He came across as a nice guy on the show, which kind of surprised me. I think this appearance will do him a lot of good and we'll see him fight again soon, whether it's for the UFC or Strikeforce.

Wasn't an impressive win by Roy Nelson in any case and I don't think Dana has a lot of time for him which isn't good.

Ah yeah you posted that yesterday lol

            Spoiler re Kimbo fight.

Roy Nelson's gut is massive, he looks so unfit, I don't like his attitude much either. Kimbo is a great stand up fighter and looks really in shape, reckon he'd appear so much better/younger/meaner if he shaved that beard off. His ground game just doesn't exist full stop, though was impressed when he almost bodypressed Nelson totally off him.

Lol at other contestant asking if he'd ever found any chicken bones in there. You just know he's going to be put back in to the frey at some point as someone else will have to quit due to injury or something ... it's so obvious. To me anyway. Waits to be proved wrong.

Eh? What did I post yesterday?!

It was Rampage asking about the chicken bones beard wasn't it?

I would think kimbo would look meaner without the beard too, but he's been exposed as a nice guy now anyway. Kind of the same thing happened with Rampage when he first appeared on TUF. All the mystique and howling at the moon lifted to reveal a happy go lucky guy.

As for him getting back in, they all but confirmed it in the promo for next week. Also explains how they could give such a high profile fight away in the 3rd week.

I was talking about post #227. And it was Rampage re the chicken bones yes. Have the memory of a (dead) fish me.

Ah yes, I said I would watch it and I managed it! Good series so far, although I did like it when they had to fight to get in which they didn't do this series.

Does anyone know what's the minimum age to go and watch the UFC Live?

I mentioned to my nephew that I may be going to the Manchester event (UFC 105) and he said he would like to come along (for the atmosphere more than the fighting).

I've had a quick look on ticketmaster site but I can't see any mention of age restrictions (my nephew is 15). I was thinking that it may be a minimum age of 16 due to the nature of the event?

Well, I've seen kids on televised events way younger than 15. It's strange, like wrestling when their events used to be rated 18 on dvd. Half the audience (in the UK) were kids. Best to ring the arena.

                        Yeah, I couldn't belive the

Kimbo fight... and to be caught in exactly the same trap twice is just unbelievable. The question is - are they just making Kimbo out to be lovable and giving him another chance because they know they can make a heck of a lot of money out of him as a contracted UFC fighter... he's such a big personality, with an already very large fan-base from the internet, so it makes commercial sense for him to win...

Yeah, it’s all play for the cameras. Neither seems to get rattled by what the other says, and all the insults are pretty tame; well, at least compared to what you’d see with Serra/Hughes, Shamrock/Ortiz. Still very entertaining to watch though.

Indeed. Next to the giants they have on this season it’s also really noticeable how undersized he is for a heavyweight. Maybe it would wiser to force him to drop down to 205lbs where he’d actually find it easier to prevent takedowns.

                          Haven’t seen the promo, but…

                          *spoiler on the next fight*

I don’t know if anyone noticed this (I certainly didn’t) but when Big Country was in the garden talking about Kimbo it was actually post fight , and he was explaining to one of the other fighters how to take Kimbo down. I just hope for Kimbo’s sake he isn‘t fighting a wrestler.

That was without doubt the worst decision of all time.

Shogun kicked Machida around the ring for all 5 rounds, and at the end of the fight Machida was clearly struggling to walk. Amazing.

We just watched that, it stunk, UFC has grown because its never been afraid to match up the best and let the best man, not their current poster boys, win.

Rua got robbed, how all 3 saw it that score is amazing

Yep I agree. I do see what they are saying about having to BEAT your opponent but if this wasn't a title fight Shogun would have the decision.

The judging is very controversial at the best of time. Nothing to do with 'poster boys' winning though as the judges are all independant and in the past have even known very little about MMA.
