Yep. Enjoyed them. Strange reverse decision in Jones-Hamill fight. Harsh decision by the ref.
Kimbo fight was strange though I liked it. Bless Houston Alexander - he tried his best but got out-scored by Kimbo of all people. He had a puncher's chance at least and everyone wanted a brawl. After all, thats why Dana booked the match. Kimbo did execute a fantastic takedown. I love it when UFC makes me pop (wooo!)
Really happy that Roy Nelson won. He looks like a trucker and is a likeable guy despite his apparant arrogance. Not THE most exciting guy maybe but it will be interesting to see how he matches up with UFC's finest. Wouldn't bet on him beating them tbh.

The Kimbo decision could have easily gone the other way.
I too am pleased that Nelson won, though can't see him going on to win any titles.
Next season's coaches announcement didn't leave me mega-excited Liddell and Ortiz - but be good to see Liddell back in the ring in six months or so.
Roll on UFC 107 this weekend and Penn vs Sanchez, should be a good action packed one that.

It’s a shame all that positive affirmation didn’t work against BJ. I was expecting a war but BJ walked right through him; the bone deep head kick that stopped the fight was brutal.
The new look Mir also put in great performance against Kongo. He’s clearly focused on redeeming himself against Brock, but I do wonder if all that extra muscle will effect his gas tank ; Mir’s not exactly renowned for his cardio.

Great few fights.
Guida - lost so much blood, but balls of steel, needs a hair cut mind
Mir - really looked up for the job, been a fan since saw lots of him in the Ultimate Fighter show, think this is really first time he's fought in 18 months fairly injury free. Kongo was never going to tap but you knew it was night night once Mir had his neck like that.
BJ Penn - such a one sided fight could have been used as a educational video, Sanchez totally outclassed, brave guy though his face was a right mess at the end, that forehead cut is going to take an age to heal up properly. 12 takedown attempts, 0% success.
UFC 110 - 20th Feb in Australia, Bisping vs Silva should be great. 108 & 109 have some decent bouts lined up also. Roll on 2nd Jan for the Rashid Evans fight.

Guida is amazing to watch. He could lose every fight and he'd still have a job. His fight against Sanchez is one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen. Right up there with Griffin-Bonner. Like Griffin, not the best fighter but still bloody good, and just fun to watch.
Sanchez didn't belong with BJ Penn at all. Like Rogen said, he's a rare breed that makes great fighters look lame.
I couldn't see Congo having anything for Mir and he didn't. It's a shame Brock is ill because Mir-Lesnar 3 would be on the cards right now. IF he has to have surgery soon and an interim champ is crowned, it has to be Mir.

How good is BJ Penn?!
If he makes the No.1 challenger look ordinary, what chance the others?!?!
Mir looked in really good shape for his fight. The difference in his physique compared to when he fought Lesnar is clear to see. I like the way he seems non plussed when he's walking to the ring and standing in the corner whilst the fight is being announced. He looks like he does'nt have a care in the world!
The choke he had on Kongo was brutal. 18 stone cranking down on your neck means only one thing - 'time to go to sleep'.
If Brock can't fight, how does the title get sorted out. Is it the top 2 fighters going toe to toe, or by some other means?

I thought Mir had taken a leaf out of Fedor's ring walk and general pre-fight demeanour.
They can't just let the heavy title rot and it looks like Lesnar is out for a bit, he can't come straight back at title level, surely he needs a non-title tune up first ?
Can throw Junior Dos Santos into the heavy mix, he looks a bit handy.
