I wish I could get as enthusiastic about mobile phones as people on here.

For me it's so much more than a "mobile phone" though.

Some of the things it can do, it's kinda blown my mind.

This afternoon I sat and used YELP to see all the business in the radius of my home, then I set Sky to record something whilst I was out with the kids. Then I watched some film trailers via a different app.

More than even that though, it increases pocket space. Instead of having iPod in left pocket and phone in right pocket now I just have device.

I think the only improvement I could ask for is battery life, but when you consider how much it can and does do, it's no surprise it needs charging more often! It's like having a bloody laptop in your pocket.

Slightly offtopic. My payment for my first bill with o2 went through. But i also recieved 2 more transactions, titled "O2(UK)LTD PREPAY" both at £15 each. I have no idea what these are, Anyone have any ideas? :/

Not to alarm you but you could be a victim of card fraud. A friend of mine had his card cloned and somebody bought loads of pre-pay mobile credit. If you've not bought the credit then I'd give O2 a call to find out the details behind those transactions as well as your bank.

I figured it might be as i've seen a couple of threads about it in a search engine, the only thing its missing is SLOUGH at the end. The only reason i ask is because it might have been something i missed because i have a direct debit contract with o2. Will definetly be giving them a ring as soon as i get up tomorrow.

I had someone get my card details and they bought o2 prepay and Tmobile prepay.

I've filled in the forms to have my O2 iPhone unlocked. 2 bloody weeks it could take to process but glad to see O2 doing it, where most networks around the world carrying the iPhone are not. Will post results when it happens.

I had the same around six weeks ago (although I am a long time o2 customer) and it was a fraudulent transaction

I got my iphone yesterday and I'm having trouble getting my contacts off my old phone and on to my iphone.

I have a samsung tocco and when using their software I am trying to export my phonebook into a .csv file. So I go to Export, select .csv and then click on my phonebook but it says nothing to export when I can quite clearly see all my contacts and they are all stored on my sim.

Any ideas why it's not working or any suggestions of another way to do it?

Can you sync the Samsung with Outlook, then sync Outlook with your iPhone?

I just tried exporting again as an Outlook file and again it says there is nothing to export.

I just tried syncing it instead and it said sync failed and then crashed to desktop.

This all seems a bit odd, like there is something wrong with my phonebook maybe?

I have also tried sending stuff to my iphone via bluetooth but it keeps failing...

Now I have finally got them into Outlook with some jiggery pokery and I can see them in Outlook.

When I sync my iphone it says that it is syncing contacts but Outlook kicks up an error message and then after the sync, my iphone has no contacts.

Can I just import a .csv file into the iphone? Is that possible? I have managed to get all my contacts saved out as a .csv file.

took me a few goes to get my ntlworld account working....

you dont want SSL turned on when you set it up..

No idea dude, my contacts sync'ed from Outlook to the iPhone without any trouble.

I've since moved everything over to gmail though, so I've got all mail/calendars/contacts synchronised and working over the Exchange 'push' connector.

Just hangs! All the details are correct and it just sits there loading, doing nothing at all!
